This was my second visit (separated by a few years!) and although not necessarily glad to be back I know I am getting the best possible care from Lisa and Dr. Wilson. I was dreading what the treatment plan would be but it was much better than I expected and quite doable. Unfortunate to have to wait over 4 months to get started.

I confess that I was a little anxious about this whole periodontal experience. My anxiety was exacerbated by trying to navigate downtown Minneapolis, a city that I am not familiar with. I was a bit frazzled the first few times I came to the office. I encountered, at all levels, people who were patient, kind, good humored and supportive. Experiencing those characteristics relieved my anxiety considerably. I was in good hands. Dr. Kersten confirmed that belief with his follow up call a day after my procedure, "to check in and see how I was doing."

After receiving two dental implants from Dr. Wilson in 2016 and having a great experience, I was pleased to be referred by my new dentist to receive an additional implant due to bone loss in my jaw which included cadaver bone. I received my implant a week ago and have had no issues. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and his great support staff.

Metro Perio is fantastic. The staff is so patient and puts you at ease. Dr. Mark (Wilson) is the best guy/Dr. ever. Every time I see him, I warn him not to ever retire! There really aren’t words to describe how welcome they make you feel.

What a wonderful office! Dr. Kersten and his team are very personable, thorough, and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and my concerns were listened to and addressed. All options were discussed clearly so I could understand. I appreciate their care and would recommend Metropolitan Periodontists to anyone looking for a caring, talented specialist!
