I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. McCann by my primary dentist as a needed to have specific dental procedure done, and have been going to Dr. McCann for the about the last year. I have had several "rounds" of treatment and each time have been impressed with Dr. McCann and everyone his office - they are all the consummate professionals, very efficient and knowledgeable, so pleasant, friendly, and put you at ease. Dr. McCann explains the procedure and follow up thoroughly and in a manner which a "non-dental professional" can understand and makes it clear that he and his staff are available if there are follow-up questions afterwards. I really appreciate the follow up call the next day and feel that I am in great hands with Dr. McCann and his team.

April 2021: I had a good experience with Dr. McCann, my first visit to the office. I was referred by my general dentist. Dr. McCann did a thorough examination of my teeth and gums including tooth mobility, gum pocket depth, gum recession, etc. He is kind, patient, and professional. He explained every step of the procedure before he did it, which is anxiety free. It did take me a while to get an appointment. However, it shows a good sign that the office is organized. I would run away if I can get an appointment with a doctor anytime I want. June 2021: This is my first time to have deep cleaning. There has been some controversy about the practice of deep cleaning. Some people have an opinion that deep cleaning damages teeth or gums. I was one of those people. Finally, I made a decision to give a try. I was nervous during the procedure. Ana is my hygienist. She is excellent. She is kind, patient, and professional. She made the whole process pain free. A couple of my teeth felt sensitive occasionally. Ana stopped immediately whenever I felt discomfort. It took her more than one hour to clean my teeth. I thought I would not eat regular food for at least a couple days. However, it is not true. I ate regular food 6 hours after the procedure. All my worries I had before such as loose teeth or receding gums did not occur. Today is day 3 after the cleaning. I feel great. Thank Ana for her service.

I have been going to Dr. McCann for almost five years. I rotate between my regular dentist and his office for additional cleaning and monitoring as I have a long history of dental issues. His team and staff are all wonderful. They are very kind, patient, nonjudgmental and are genuinely concerned about your oral health and making sure you stay on the right track and continue to make progress. He is worth the one hour drive, would highly recommend!

My daughter and I have seen Dr. McCann for a number of procedures over the years. Three days ago, he was able to fit me in to remove an infected tooth and root in preparation for an implant. Not only was his office accommodating last minute, but the procedure was seamless. He was gentle and kept me aware of every part of the procedure and possible reactions, always concerned with my comfort. In 45 minutes the tooth was out, the area disinfected, a bone graft was installed, and the wound was sutured. I was sent off with a dose of ibuprofen, prescriptions, and directions for care. Since I left, I have followed directions and am healing well and quickly. I am grateful for his kindness, thoroughness, and expertise. He has always guided me well and taken excellent care of my teeth and mouth. Dr. McCann is an expert at his practice and is the best! I recommend him unequivocally.
