Hennepin County Medical Center : Dental & Oral Surgery Clinic

I had oral surgery last week the guy who did it was amazing he got them out so quick. I have high dental anxiety and he gave me gas and numbed me so well. I was very pleased I had oral surgery here a year before and was really pleased with the lady as well that did it but this guy was the best. I feel like his name was Brian but don’t quote me. They are very strict about their scheduling procedures so make sure when you schedule a date you’re able to keep that date.

I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled, two which were impacted in my jaw and Dr.Hannah got them all out way quicker than I expected. She is truly a gifted surgeon, I have very minimal swelling and have not been in pain and it’s day 3 for me. I couldn’t be more grateful to have crossed paths with her! Thank you.

This hospital is a bit hectic when it comes to location. Service wise, there is good treatment, for the most part. Scheduling an appointment with them is a process that requires patience. I had my teeth extraction with them and was left with unclear instructions to follow post operation. They hadn’t told me what to & what not to do, which led to a health scare at home. So I’d say to do your own research before hand if you choose to get your wisdom teeth taken out here.

I was a little leery about this Clinic after reading all of the reviews. But I am glad I did make an appointment. I don’t understand the negative reviews. I didn’t have any problems scheduling an appointment. I went to my appointment yesterday and they were running on time. I have a great fear of dentists. Let me tell you this Clinic was amazing. My dental assistant and dentist were top notch. They addressed my fears and made me feel so comfortable. I have some major work that needs to be done and I’m grateful for this place! I am updating this review after 2 months of going to the oral surgery department. I can’t believe how great this place is. I have a lot of work to be done but I have been so happy with the care I have received.

i had the best dental experience of my life here getting my wisdom teeth removed!! my doctors, Mark and Betsy, were both so sweet, caring, funny and genuinely kind. they made me feel at ease, which meant a lot, as i had really bad anxiety about the procedure. laughing gas was provided throughout the whole procedure, even before and after, which really helped as well. getting my top two wisdom teeth removed only took 15 minutes, and Mark made me crack up when he pulled it out and said "its a boy!" lol, and Betsy kept asking if i was okay and rubbing my shoulder cause she could tell i was freaking out which i appreciated greatly. i initially thought i wouldnt have such a good time just based off how hard it was to schedule everything because they never answered the phone, but once everything was scheduled (consult then surgery) it was seamless. thanks again Mark and Betsy , y’all are the best ❣️
