Oral surgery was performed adequately. The billing staff and insurance administrators are the real problem here. First, they make you pay right there before they let you back to see the recovering patient - even when there are legitimate questions on amounts owed. Second, they made us pay out of pocket higher than the negotiated rate with insurance for x-rays - big pain to get that fixed. Third, since they had their money already, they refused to follow my reasonable requests on how my insurance told me the surgeon needed to provide a written statement indicating the x-rays were medically necessary for the procedure and then sign it for insurance to cover it. Bottom line, they wouldn’t put in the effort to try and work it out with the insurance company since they already made us pay out of pocket and had their money. Unprofessional service on that front.
