If you are someone who avoids the dentist, please take your time to read this. Monday was my first time at the dentist in many years. I have avoided the dentist because I was crippled in fear. I knew I needed work done, but never wanted to face it. However, the pain became so intense, I had no choice. Dr. Johnson was recommended to me by a friend, and It was the best decision I have ever made. After my exam on Monday, we scheduled a root canal for Today. He was very calm and understanding of my fear and assured me he would do everything necessary to keep me as calm and comfortable as possible. Today, I had my first root canal with him, and It was absolutely painless. His assistant Katie was wonderful and kept me calm while they used some Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) to help take the edge off-which worked! They were both so gentle during the entire procedure and kept making sure I was doing ok. I have never had a good experience at a dental office until today, and I can not thank Dr. Johnson and his staff enough for the most comfortable painless experience I have ever had. I feel confident enough to go back and get all the work done that is needed in my mouth. But, baby steps. 😊 Thanks Dr. Johnson!
