I came to Park Dental with a unique experience after a bicycle accident in which I broke my two front teeth. Dr. Rabinowitz and everyone else on staff were so nice and understanding. I could tell they cared about my situation and went above and beyond to help and did an excellent job. The front desk staff also helped so much by working with my schedule and making sure I understood where I was at with things along the way.

The people are all fine but I have never needed anything more than a routine cleaning. The problem with this office is trying to reschedule appointments. I called over a month prior to my scheduled appointment and was told that the next available appointment was 4 months out...for a routine cleaning. To me, this is a sign that the office has way too many patients. I also have a hard time believing that no one else has cancelled an appointment during May, June, or July leaving no available openings. I will be upgrading my dental insurance next year so I have better options for dentists.

One star only because 0 and below was not offered. My dentist, Dr. Rabinowitz was quite competent and knowledgeable; the problem lies with the front desk staff, the public face of this practice. They are brusque and uncooperative. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I had a cleaning scheduled months before the appt and it was canceled by text message less than 24 hours before the appt. I called the next day to reschedule and was given an appt 2 days later at Noon. On the morning of the appt, I called to reschedule because my nose was running constantly. The first response was to let me know that I was liable for a cancellation fee because I cancelled less than 24 hours before. I pointed out that since they had cancelled out on me on my prior appt, I was going to charge an equivalent fee for their cancellation. No response. She the rescheduled me for sometime in May. I requested a room with a window because I am claustrophobic and have been since my childhood. I had previously made this request with my hygienist. Instead of any semblance of commiseration, I was told that my request could not be guaranteed. This person does not know the meaning of customer service. I emailed Dr. Rabinowitz directly with my concerns and have not had the courtesy of a response. Going to the dentist can be very traumatic. This practice does not seem to appreciate this. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO AVOID THIS DENTAL OFFICE FOR THE REASONS STATED.

To start off, scheduling staff Sammy, Nancy, and Tracy are all completely unprofessional. Sammy, Nancy, and Tracy, you should all be extremely embarrassed and ashamed of the way you treat patients. Instead of answering a simple question, they would rather give you the run around and put you on hold while they “check something” for 15+ minutes 6 times in a row. If you’re looking for a dental practice that actually cares about patients and not just money, LOOK ELSEWHERE. These people are extremely difficult and not accommodating at all. I missed an appointment because my elderly dog was sick and I had to take my dog to the vet to be put to sleep, no sympathy or consideration of the circumstance, they refuse to let me schedule an appointment now unless it’s “same day,” let’s be real, unless you are unemployed or retired, a same day appointment is not realistic and most people don’t have time to call every location every day to try to get an appointment. Aside from scheduling staff being absolutely horrendous, they will rush through all dental work because they just want the money and don’t actually care how it turns out. One dentist that did a filling for me was extremely condescending and when I asked for laughing gas because I have anxiety about dental work, he decided it would be a good idea to give me laughing gas and no novocain out of spite because he was mad that I asked for laughing gas due to the extra time it took to administer. He laughed while doing my filling that I sobbed through the entire time because I could feel everything he was doing to my tooth, I didn’t realize that this wasn’t normal because this was the second dental procedure I’d had in my entire life. On another note, they will try to push unnecessary dental work on you for profit. The same dentist insisted that I have would need a root canal when in reality after getting a second opinion, all I needed was the minor filling. I am so happy that I am no longer giving my money to such a horrendous business, literally any other practice is better than Park Dental.

I’m not sure what these people are doing wrong to have such poor experiences with this place. I’ve been having my teeth cleaned here for a few years now, and I’ve never had a single problem. They’re friendly, efficient, and have always been helpful. Front desk has always been great too. Never had problems scheduling or keeping appointments. I see a specific hygienist every time I go, Nikki, and she’s wonderful. Really cares about your dental health and will help you answer any questions you have.
