I started taking my kids to this practice 5 years ago (daughter is now 9 and my son is 6), I never really liked Dr. Allen but its a dentist - I don’t need to be friends with a dentist I just need them to do a good job and make my kids feel comfortable. The office is in a convenient location and has nice amenities but don’t be fooled - the dentist and staff are what matters and they are awful. I regret staying there as long as we did and after the last two visits I will NEVER go back. I don’t leave reviews often but maybe this can help prevent future pain for someone else. - Dr. Allen - Terrible. Her overall demeanor is condescending and rude. To reiterate, this was not one bad visit, this is with two kids over 5 years. She talks to kids in a very high-pitched baby voice, which I guess is her attempt to be friendly, but it doesn’t hide the fact that her "chair-side" manner is just bad. She doesn’t take time to look kids in the eye and explain what she is going to do. She just talks through as she is doing something in her baby voice. My kids have no behavioral issues or spectrum disorders - I can’t imagine how she would respond to kids with sensory or behavior problems. - They go out of their way to over charge on services and do not provide all treatment options upfront. In a recent experience with my son Dr. Allen pushed one option and dismissed my questions about alternatives. So I was extremely frustrated to find out after the procedure was done that my son will need additional follow-up and that options that would not require additional treatment were available but not offered. - The front desk person that handles the billing is rigid and rude. On a visit for a routine cleaning my husband had just started a new job (literally the same day as the visit) and we had the dental insurance policy information but not the specific policy number yet. Again we had been going there for 5 years - I was shocked at how rude and pushy they were about having to pay out of pocket before we left. It was a routine cleaning, we had appointments in the following weeks but all they cared about was getting paid on the spot. - In short - DON’T GO HERE.

This office is amazing! The hygienists are lovely and sensitive. Dr Allen is thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, and kind. We have a less-common insurance so an in-network pediatric dentist is hard to find. I’m so thrilled we found this dental office!

Dr. Allen is phenomenal! I got emotional in her office because of the high quality of care her and her staff provided for my son. He had received terrible care at another office and was very scared to go back to a dentist. Dr. Allen was SO incredibly patient and kind to both my son and myself. The staff was gentle with him and he got a very large filling done with no trouble at all! You will not be disappointed going to this office! They are all wonderful!

Dr. Allen and her staff are great. We were referred to her by family whose kids she has treated for over a decade and we’ve now been seeing her for a few years with our 2 little ones as well. She is knowledgeable and personable and of course great with the kids. Both Dr. Allen and the hygienists we have seen are incredibly patient with kids that are nervous about being at the dentist and they are quick and efficient once the kids give them an opening. After having some less pleasant experiences elsewhere, I have a feeling we’ll be patients of Dr. Allen’s for several years.

Dr Allen is an amazing dentist as well as super compassionate. She stayed after hours when my daughter slipped and fell on the ice. She didn’t have to but chose to out of the kindness in her heart. The staff are so friendly and amazing with kids. I’m very thankful for Dr Allen and her office!
