Had a great experience with Dr. Nelson and staff. They are all very friendly and acommodating with scheduling. They have handled the pandemic with extra safety precautions. The best part is, my teeth look great!

Scheduling: Appointments are hard to get for kids outside of school hours. No Saturday or after 5 p.m. hours for a business that serves a LOT of school-aged kids. You also can only call for an appointment during daytime business hours - no online scheduling is available during evenings or weekends either. So working parents need to take time away from their jobs to call for an appointment, and then take time away from work to pull the student of out school every 6 weeks for appointments. I wish I would have looked for someone with a more patient-friendly schedule. Given that this goes on for years, if it’s a concern to you it might be something to include in your selection criteria. Quality of work: Originally they told us 18 months to 2 years; we are at 2 years 7 months and now they just told him up to 7 more months. That is discouraging; partially due to waiting to see what would happen as he grew. It’s hard to tell how this will turn out.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with this team. We arrived to the area with my daughter already in her 2nd set of braces. The Minnetonka team offered us a wonderful game plan that fit our parameters and provided the best solution for her specific challenges. I loved that they meet as a group and agree on a plan. That was truly a benefit to have multiple professional opinions rolled into one. Appointments were always timely and professional. All staff was kind and accommodating. Thank you all for helping round two of braces be the last round for us.
