Cornerstone Dental and Orthodontics of Flower Mound

**PLEASE READ** recently visited this dental office for a first-time appointment and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I want to share my honest feedback to help others make an informed decision. My appointment was scheduled after changing insurance providers, as this office accepted my new insurance. A few days before my visit, I received a call requesting my Social Security number, which I found unusual and uncomfortable, especially since they insisted I provide it over the phone despite my concerns. When I expressed my preference to bring the information in person, I was told it was not possible and that my appointment would be canceled if I didn’t comply — a frustrating and unprofessional approach. Upon arriving at the office, I was greeted very coldly, with no friendly introduction or welcoming words. The check-in process felt rushed and impersonal. The staff member simply asked for my last name and directed me to wait, without any courtesy or explanation. The dental hygienist, who performed my x-rays and teeth cleaning, appeared very serious and unwelcoming. The environment was cluttered and unclean, with a dirty, poorly stocked restroom, which was concerning. During the appointment, I was subjected to unnecessary procedures, including an additional set of x-rays and a device to map my teeth for a retainer or night guard—something I did not request or need, as I was only there for a basic cleaning. The dentist who examined my teeth was also very serious and did not ask me any questions about my dental history. She mentioned I needed fillings on three teeth and claimed that previous work (filler) was worn out — despite me having no history of cavities or previous fillings. Her tone and statements felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially since she seemed to dismiss my own dental history. Throughout the appointment, I felt like I was being pushed toward unnecessary procedures and expensive treatments without clear explanations or consultation. The staff also quoted me significantly higher prices for Invisalign and fillings than I had received from previous dentists, which was surprising and disappointing. The overall experience lacked professionalism, warmth, and transparency. The staff’s attitude and the environment do not reflect the standard of care I expect from a reputable dental practice. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office and advise others to consider alternative options for dental care. I went to ideal dental concerned about the spacing of my teeth. I was able to meet the wonderful team that walked with me through my implant process. Dr Chowdhry and Issai we gentle and efficient with my procedure. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently visited ideal dental, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable right away. The office itself was clean and well-equipped with the latest technology, which gave me confidence in the quality of care I was about to receive. Scheduling was easy, and they were punctual with my appointment, which I really appreciated. The entire team at ideal dental goes above and beyond to provide excellent dental care with a friendly, patient-centered approach. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled dentist!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The front desk staff is incredibly unprofessional and unwelcoming. At my initial appointment, they recommended I sign up for HFD, a payment plan with extremely high interest rates—despite the fact that I have insurance. While I wasn’t happy about the rates, I agreed because I knew the procedure needed to be done. I completed what I believed was the application, and they assured me everything was set. They then proceeded with my cleaning and placed a temporary crown. When I returned for my permanent crown, they claimed I hadn’t completed the application and became visibly irritated when I explained that I didn’t have the funds to put down at that moment. To make matters worse, I had called the office the day before to confirm that nothing would be owed, yet no one mentioned any issues. The man at the front desk, along with another woman behind him, spoke to me in an extremely condescending manner, making belittling remarks. Shouldn’t it be the responsibility of the dental office to ensure that all financial paperwork is properly processed before moving forward with treatment? Yet somehow, I was made to feel like I was at fault. Their complete lack of professionalism and accountability made this a terrible experience. I regret not reading previous reviews beforehand, as I now see I’m not the only one who has had issues with this office. It’s unfortunate because the dentist is nice. I would strongly advise against coming here.

Incredibly nice staff. I felt really taken care of and prioritized. Everyone is so friendly! It’s been touch and go for the past few years since the name change but my daughter and i both had an excellent experience today! Everyone who worked there, from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist were all wonderful! Highly recommend!
