Veneman Dental Care

Went in last weekend for a molar extraction that had became infected. I was in pain for weeks but hate going to the dentist even for a cleaning, i have had bad experiences in the past. Dr. Kelsey made the experience great for me i felt nothing at all not even the novacaine. I was expecting getting a molar pulled at 30yrs old would be painful but she proved me wrong. She was very upbeat, positive and made me feel very comfortable and got the tooth out in minutes! Now four days later i still have not experienced any pain what so ever and the infection is gone! I will definitely be making this my go to dentist and would highly recommend it to anyone and will be spreading the word. Thanks again See you soon!

I have been going to this particular clinic since I was at least 10 years old, maybe even younger. This was originally Dr. William Bunce Dental Clinic. It has always been great service and quality care until Veneman Dental took over once William Bunce retired. I literally have been coming to this clinic for at least 25 years and I’ve never experienced that type of service I have until this dentist took over. They provide quality care, however, their customer service is very poor. They seem to be more focused on obtaining money as opposed to providing great customer service and good quality care. Tammy is the office manager, but acts more like a collections agent. I have NEVER gone to this clinic (or any health provider) without insurance and my insurance is always covered. And if you have insurance and the insurance covers the appointment, they will try to force you to pay for your entire visit upfront before they receive the insurance claim. I’ve never in my life heard of any clinic doing that when you provide proof of insurance and proof that they are covered whether they’re in network or out of network. I have also been flirted with by one of the dental hygienist Tim multiple times throughout the years which made me feel uncomfortable and the behavior is very unprofessional. Although I purposely have had to schedule my appointments on days that he is not in the clinic to avoid him, he would just ask another family member of mine who also was a patient here too about me constantly. It made them very uncomfortable also. I also have had issues with this clinic that every time I or another family member go to this clinic, they always find a way to get you back in for additional services to pay them more money. I always go to my dentist appointments every 6 months for cleaning and I have never had anything major with my teeth. I’ve had a few fillings, my wisdom teeth removed, no root canals, no braces, and no crooked teeth. Beware of going to this clinic for ANYTHING!

Dr. Derrick Veneman is the worlds most amazing dentist! He LITERALLY saved my tooth, I visited him the day before I was scheduled to have my tooth extracted (which was damaged by another dentist) after Dr. Veneman took an x-ray (at no cost to me) he told me he could help me save it. My entire life I have been telling other dentist that I am still feeling pain after having the “maximum amount of Novocain” , they have ignored me and instead blamed me, telling me that I have extreme dental anxiety and that I am a difficult patient. Dr. Derrick Veneman spent more than an hour talking with me, joking with me and helping me to feel comfortable on our first appointment, he even ground down the damaged crown to elevate my immediate jaw pain without charging me. I told him how much trouble I have been to other dentist and yet he still assured me he could help me. At our appointment to re-do a damaged crown from another dentist, he gave me a different kind of Novocain and for the FIRST time in my entire life I did not feel any pain during the dental procedure, I felt calmer and more comfortable than I have ever felt during a dental procedure. Dr. Veneman was kind, humorous and made the experience the best dental experience of my life. Dr. Veneman and his office have my complete trust and admiration, I will never visit another dentist!!

Saw Dr. Kelcey yesterday she is by far the best Dentist I’ve ever been to. I had to have a filling done and she was so gentle with the novacaine and was quick and efficient!! I strongly recommend her to anyone that needs an amazing Dentist!!!
