This place is great! I had a dental emergency because my bonding on my front tooth fell off. My dentist couldn’t fit me in for another two weeks. I’m not even a patient here but they were able to the next day! Dr. Vertichio did such a great job along with her dental assistant, Kaylee. She also cleaned my other bonding on my other tooth and got a stain out without me even asking. My smile looks so much better than it did before! Thank you, Bellport Family Dentistry!

I called this clinic because I had extreme tooth pain, and was looking for some help. A lady picked up the phone, and was extremely rude to me. I started off the conversation by saying good morning and she replies "who’s calling?" I repeated my self by saying "good morning" once again. She did not even acknowledge me. I proceeded to tell her my name and asked her if they take cigna PPO insurance. She states that they take it but not in a form off a payment. Which to me is confusing. How do you take insurance, but don’t take it as a form of payment. We all know there are co pays. She was so rude that I hung up the phone, before she could make me more upset in a time of extreme pain. I just purchased a residence near by, and wanted to get to know my local dentist and town a little better. However because this lady that picked up the phone, and was rude and did not have any customer communication skills and empathy. I will not be giving them my business. It’s sad because I’m probably missing out on a good dentist, unfortunately for customers, its all about the greeting us customers get when we call or walk into their office. And this original greeting was terrible. Some advice for this receptionist... If you are having a bad day, call out sick. If you hate your job? Than find another one that is not dealing with the general public.
