Anthony J Caruso DDS - Southampton Dental Arts

I’m shocked to see negative reviews on Southampton Dental Arts, as I have been with Anthony and his staff for 13 years and have never had a bad experience. They’re always very flexible if you have to change appointments or cancel them. I suppose every Dental office has bad days, as does any other business, but I can tell you that Anthony and his staff are very fair.

I been lived in many places & have had many dentists . I retired 10 years ago and started seeing Dr. Caruso. Without a doubt he is the best I have ever had. Meticulous in work & his staff is fantastic. Highly recommend!!!

I just got off the phone with someone at this office. And while I am probably being emotional in this review, I was left extremely unhappy with the experience. About 8 weeks ago I needed to have an inlay re-glued as it came out (12 years after it's initial placement). The experience was fine with that visit and all seemed well. I even made an appointment to have a cleaning (which could not be done until September). While I was driving yesterday the inlay came out again. And while I am aware that Dr. Caruso did not do the original procedure, I would expect that his efforts to re-attach it would last longer than 8 weeks. And if there was any doubt about the stability of the inlay, that he would have informed me. So it was much to my disappointment that I was informed of two things just now. First, that they would not re-insert the inlay until next week, and that they would not backup the work that they had done. The rational? That it was not their responsibility as they did not do the original work. Second, that they did not have a record of my appointment for a cleaning. I am very frustrated with both the experience and the abrasive attitude of the woman I spoke with. I cannot recommend this office to anyone but long time patients. And while I am aware of some truly awful behavior by people both local and City, I was not one of those people in my dialogue with Dr. Caruso's office. UPDATE: Dr. Caruso just called me and will see me for the repair at the end of his day. As I mentioned in earlier, and he confirmed just now, he was kind, patient, and helpful. I revise my review.

Had an infected tooth during the pandemic, they got me in within 24hrs, he removed my tooth without any discomfort, i was in and out in 45 mins! Excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend Dr Caruso!

Dr. Caruso is a great dentist. He truly cares about his patients and provides excellent work at a fair price. I feel lucky to have found him. I highly recommend this dental practice.
