I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Timothy Atkinson. The first via novicane, the other three I was told were medically necessary and had to come out. First I was asked who came with me for after the procedure, when I informed them it was my father’s partner (a man) they refused to put him on my release paperwork. They put my boyfriend’s name instead despite the fact he couldn’t drive. They were more than happy to take my step father’s credit card to pay $300 ahead of time though. I was told after they were ready to start I was "too heavy to sedate in an office setting" at 230 pounds. If I would have been told this on my first visit I would have opted for novicane. I wasn’t. 2/3 of the way through the procedure I woke up from my anesthesia. Started screaming and hyperventilating. Got two of the three teeth I needed out done. I was rushed out of the office. Came home and realized the stitches were done so poorly they were coming out. I received no follow up call to check on me. I did however receive another bill in the mail for another $400 which included charges for extra anesthesia and the tooth the left in. I refused to pay and explained why. Five years later they have sent me to yet another collection agency. Avoid this man like the plague. HIGHLY recommend Callaghan and Bergie, who took my final tooth out.

Doctor was rude. He explained that I had a gum issue. I asked what the issue was and he said "I just told you". He hurried me on to pull a tooth but I stopped him and explained that I was nervous, never had work done on my teeth and I wanted to understand what was going on. He got annoyed and went to numb my tooth with red stuff on a stick before the needle. He jammed the wooden stick into the hole in my tooth. It hurt, it still does. I swear he did it on purpose. I told him he hurt me and he said he didnt. Wow...what a terrible experience.

I had two of my adult children have their wisdom teeth removed here within the same week in August. Dr Atkinson is very thorough in his initial assessment. He is also friendly and makes you feel at ease. I have NEVER encountered rudeness from anyone who works here. Quite the opposite. Smiling faces and kind. My son had to reschedule twice which was no problem whatsoever. My daughter had to have a biopsy of a bone mass while getting her extractions. We opted to have a 3D x-ray to get a better look. Well worth the price! Dr Atkinson himself calls a few times after the procedure to make sure his patients are doing well with no difficulties. He is professional with a great sense of humor as well. I would definitely recommend him and will go to him with any future needs!

Of all the staff that this office has only one is very nice and respectful. True about the Hispanic nurse. She’s rude and ignorant she’s not even helpful for Hispanic ppl. Also this clinic does not have a pay plan. Really expensive which if your plan does not cover it all. You have to pay between $800 and its hard to give at once $800 just because they don’t do pay plan. Also if you miss the appointment they also charge $50. Jesus lord. I won’t lie the doctor did a great job on my first surgery. But today I have another surgery let see how it goes.

Avoid if at all possible. Took my daughter to have her wisdom teeth extracted. Office staff was not friendly; the doctor left the room while the Novocain was rapidly wearing off so she felt one being taken out. They were happy to take my insurance, but wanted her boyfriend as the contact person because I’m not her bio dad (her father and I have been together almost 20 years). And they play Christian radio in the waiting room; I have no problem with this, but don’t push your beliefs (religious, political, etc) on other people, it’s just unprofessional. Play Magic 93 like most other offices.
