Dr. Dai, and the aides are great. I was so scared, and the aide I had helped me not be as nervous. Dr. Dai did my procedure so well he made sure I was pain free the entire time.

I Had A Wisdom Tooth Removal Surgery A Week Ago And Everything Is Going Terribly Wrong. I’m Experiencing Constant Pain, Jaw Tightness To The Point I Cant Barely Talk Or Eat, Pain That Goes To My Neck, Head,Throat,Temple And The Other Side Of My Mouth. My Left Side Of My Lip And Chin Is Still Numb I Have No Feeling. Bloody Discharge Coming From Nose,Bad Breath,Swollen/Painful Gums Head Tightness And Severe HeadachesDay In And Day Out And Nothing Is Helping. The Ibuprofen Isn’t Helping. The Cold Conpresses Only Help While Applied Same For Warm Compresses. They Also Gave Me Tylenol With Codeine #3 That Only Help Temporarily. I Scream And Cry Day In And Day Out. I Wake Up Crying, I Go To Sleep Crying. I Can’t Even Care For My 4 Month Old And 3 Year Old . This Has LITERALLY Impacted My Life Terribly

my home office is 45 minutes from this Cleveland I had to travel here to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I was told I would need someone to drive because I was getting put under. I arrive and they have me pay before I even got it done which I thought was weird but was thinking it was because I wouldn’t be able to after from being put to sleep. The girl says it’s going to be $200 something which I thought was reasonable. I’m about to tap my phone to pay and the insurance lady stops me and says it’s wrong and proceeds to charge me almost $600. How could someone get it that wrong? I said that’s a lot for me (being a college student) and asked if I could pay half now and bill me the other. She says no and was very rude to me this entire time like I was an inconvenience. Then before I pay I asked I’m getting put under right and she says no we don’t do that here you’ll be awake. I was about to not get it done but I had already taken off work. During the extraction I didn’t feel anything and it as fine. The only person who seemed nice was the girl helping the Dr. All they sent me home with was gauze. Seriously?! No over the head ice wrap, no curved syringe for cleaning, no medicated mouth wash. I brought this up to my friends and every single one said they at least got ice and medicated mouthwash. I would not recommend getting your wisdom teeth out here it felt barbaric. General dentistry might be fine here I don’t know.

This place is a literal chop shop. I Had an infected tooth surgically pulled on the 12th , during this extraction i let him know that local anesthetics don’t normally work on me and ignored, while pulling the tooth (again infected and broken) i was crying telling him it hurt and I could feel it and he kept telling me “no you’re okay its just pressure”. i asked the oral surgeon to suture because of the location and he said “ no its okay”. The very next day i was in excruciating pain, I couldn’t talk or open my mouth without a horrid zinging pain and an extremely foul smell coming out. I called and the dr said it was normal and only after pleading did he send in a script for 5 tylonal-codeine pills. The pain and smell continued to get worse and i developed sores around the are. I just left the second appointment and explained everything and how it was EXTREMELY sensitive and painful, the doctor just kept saying okay okay, and then used his water tool to shoot cold water directly into the socket which broke me completely. Sobbing and in an immense amount of pain he left the room to tend to other patients stating that “I didn’t like the water”. When he came back in I asked again for him to be gentle and not poke directly into the socket. He used his finger for two seconds and told me that the pain was from my tongue probing the area (absolutely not. Because of the pain i was avoiding that area at all costs ) and that it was healing up fine . Frustrated i got up and asked if it was infected, to which he replied no, I asked if it was dry socket, again he replied no and told me to rinse with water. I left and went to an emergency room immediately after. And what do i have, DRY SOCKET. It took the dentist TWO SECONDS to use a little mirror (which dr chuab dai DID NOT DO) and look into the extraction sight and see nothing but bone. He said it was a deep whole so theres no way dr dai could have seen it by having me lean back, BUT THAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THOROUGHLY CHECKED INSIDE especially given my reaction to the water. I’m physically shaking im so angry never mind the seven days of excruciating pain. Two seconds to look thoroughly, two seconds is all it would have taken. But no. Not an ounce of empathy or helpfulness was given, it’s just how many patients can they get in and out all the while not LISTENING to the patient. Curt, arrogant, and callous. That is what you will get from here

The oral surgeon Dr.Jia Chun Dai is amazing, he’s compassionate, attentive, and quick at his work. My issue is with the unprofessional desk worker, her last name is Freeman. Not only is prior communication for necessary documents to bring with nonexistent, she also overcomplicates everything on your end to make her work as easy as possible so low work ethic. If I provide you an email with all the information you need, why are you saying a picture front and back of the card will be more convenient? All the information that is on the card, and a little more was included and made very clear, even color coded in my email (and I even made a call to the insurance to get confirm and add extra contact information). To top it off, it was extremely rude and showed a lack of care when she was still trying to act as if the explicit email (containing only information and accurately labeled) was STILL confusing and TALK to me after I came out from extractions with literal gauze in my mouth I needed to keep pressure on as per surgeons instructions. I went home, looked for the card and turns out insurance did not give us physical cards just digital so the information in the email is entirely accurate and the only information necessary and made available to me. I truly was astounded by this behavior given that everyone else working in this office was professional, friendly, and did their jobs well.
