Dr. Charles W. Harper, DDS

First of all very “Shoddy” Dental work. POOR customer service from staff and Dental professionals. The office staff lacks any semblance of professionalism! Their Billing and lack of communication is deplorable. When you ask about a breakdown of charges you only get rhetoric such as “this is a dental business, there is always going to be a balance” or “We dont have time to call patients to let them know what their balance is” ?? I have never heard of such nonsense. They clearly have not heard of pre-determinations which allows the patient to know what their out of pocket is before services rendered. I am amazed this practice with its reputation has been in business this long. Pretty Sad. Would not recommend !

I just got off the phone with the receptionists Tamika. She was very rude when I was trying to schedule an appointment for a cleaning /exam. Tamika explained that they do not take my insurance. When I tried to explain what type of insurance I have....she cut me off. She was very argumentative and over talking me. I don’t understand why you would have someone lile that answering the phone and representing your office. The receptionists should be kind, patient and give good customer service. That was not the case here

SOOOOO me and my family been going to Dr. Harper since being small children. MY MOTHER HAD A PROCEDURE DONE WHICH WAS MESSED UP TWICE. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT 9AM WHICH I TRIED CALLING BECAUSE I HAD TO DROP MY KIDS OFF. I GET TO THE APPOINTMENT AT 9:09AM THE RECEPTIONIST PRETTY MUCH IGNORED BE AT FIRST AND THEN STARTED ASKING THE COVID QUESTIONS. THEN SHE STATED WELL I KNOW YOU DONT KNOW THIS BUT WE ASK IF YIU DONT BE LATE ETC....I TOLD HER I TRIED TO CALL AND SHE SAID OKAY. NOW IM WAITING FOR them to call me in the back. The chick come to the door and just stand there and once I made eye contact she said you can come on back with an attitude. First of all that is not how you great a patient and how yiu know who I was. She then started saying something smart and kept talking when we walked to the room. I asked her if she wanted me to leave and I left the building. I would never go back ad ND they need to hire more professional people.

THE STAFF AND DOCTORS ARE LAZY (they half as do dental work). Please get copies of your x-rays because they will say you have no cavities when you do. And if you make a late appointment, the staff will call you multiple times in morning (as if they are the only people that work in the morning) to come in for an earlier visit. This use to be a great office, NOT ANYMORE!

Both Dr.s Harper and Gilmore are very good dentists. I have been under the care of both and so glad I found them. They are professional, efficient, and kind. They both really care about their patients, and you can tell when you are in either of their dentist chairs that you are going to be receiving excellent care. Also they are very affordable, and they let you know the out of pocket expenses for your procedure before you agree to it. Their office is staffed with kind receptionists, and they don’t leave you waiting in the waiting room for very long when you have an appointment. I wish more dentists were as good as they are!
