I recently had an appointment with Dr. Palomo and my experience was very mixed. Dr. Palomo was friendly and willingly answered my questions, which I appreciated. However, some concerning aspects of my experience included that a predetermination was never sent to my insurance as stated and Dr. Palomo took a photo of my teeth for insurance documentation on the administrative assistant’s cell phone. In addition, after following up with Dr. Palomo’s office six weeks after my appointment, I learned that the photo taken on the cell phone was forgotten about and that Dr. Palomo was not taking new patients, which I had never been told. As a patient, I was disappointed with inconsistent and misleading communication.
