They sent me home with something from lab told me to bring it back then call me and tell me I have to do it in office so I have to go back and then the reception proceeds to scream at me when I come in and ask to take the lab telling them that the lab said to come in whenever. It was incredibly unprofessional and rude.

One of the best healthcare places I’ve been to. They were so kind helping me with my financial situation - other medical places I’ve called were rude and had appointments backed up months in advance. They were considerate and super helpful, the process wasn’t stressful and their financial assistance has eliminated so much stress worrying how I’m going to be able to stay healthy while not making much money.

Couple years ago I called for an appointment because I suffer really bad depressions and I had suicide thoughts. Lady picked up and I asked her If she can help with a appointment for my depression then she tells no because I missed an appointment. Second time I called because my mom knew I was in a really bad state she told me to try again maybe they will help you. I called and the lady was yelling at me saying "We don’t see people with mental illness!" I think some of these doctors or who ever is at the front desk don’t know how series it is when they talk to a person who has a disability. I was so desperate I didn’t say anything to her I only asked for help and I just asked her If she can recommend me to some other clinic that they can help me. She tells me to go to Neighborhood Family Practice - W. 117 Community Health Center. When I went to this clinic they were so respectful and nice and understanding why people sometimes can’t show up to an appointment because of their mental health. While I was there a lady with short hair and glasses came in saying she is the boss of both clinic and she was asking me questions about my health and I told her how I was feeling. Then, she left. The doctor who was so nice to me told me that I had to make an appointment back to that other clinic where they told me they don’t accept people with mental illness. She want it me to talk to a therapist. So, I did go to my appointment and I went to see the therapist and when I was done with the therapist and go back to the waiting room and I had tears coming down my face because I was talking to someone that I had to talk about my trauma and there was that lady she told me she was the boss and I sit down because my mom was there talking to her and she looks at me and tells me "would you stop crying." Like it was aggravating her. I was shocked. In my head i am asking why is this happening to me. I am a nice person. They gave me another appointment with another doctor to see what medications works for me. Problems with them does not end there you guys. I’m just done with them. Every time I had to make an appointment i was always afraid how they going to treat me next time and I do not want this in my healing process. I am not a person seeking problems with no body but I was only asking for help. I had really bad experience with them but not the people on West 117.
