Wearing Headgear causes Maxillary Hypoplasia. When I was a kid I had a severe class 2 with severe overjet. My teeth were hitting into the roof of my mouth. Dr. Golovan’s solution was to wear head gear so the lower jaw can catch up with the upper jaw. The problem is now I have maxillary hypoplasia and sleep apnea because of the head gear that he prescribed. It would have been better do do nothing, wait until I stopped growing and get single or double jaw surgery. Don’t get headgear for your kid it’s the wrong course of action.

Dr. Golovan and his team are so knowledgeable, professional, and kind—it is always a good experience going to the office, calling the office, and handling any issues that come up. I couldn’t be happier with the results of my Invisalign. I wish I had done it sooner! If you are looking for excellent, honest, and state-of-the-art care, this is where you want to go.

Can’t say enough about Dr. Golovan and his staff. They have provided both my kids with comfortable and successful care. My kids never mind going to the orthodontist thanks to such a great environment. They also are very accommodating in getting my kids in at convenient times with little wait once you arrive. Highly recommend Dr. Golovan!

My daughter has been going to Doctor Golovan for the past year - it has been a wonderful experience! The staff is warm, accommodating and make her feel very comfortable. She was a little apprehensive about getting braces, but after the first visit the anxiety immediately disappeared! Her progress has been smooth and on target and she is getting her braces off soon....and her teeth look FABULOUS! Thank you Dr. Golovan and staff for a great job and a great experience!

Dr. Golovan and his incredibly friendly staff are rock stars in my book. I recently finished Invisiline treatment (adult braces) and couldn’t be more happy with the results. I look ten years younger! Although I started with him in Cleveland, I ended up moving to Tucson, and Dr. Golovan was extremely helpful with the transition. From beginning to end, my treatment was handled with professionalism and care. Dr. Golovan is not only smart and knowledgeable, he’s also one of the kindest health professionals you’ll ever encounter. His staff is equally as devoted and professional. By the way, my kids used Dr. Golovan 20 years ago for their braces and he was wonderful then. Highly recommended.
