Dr. Davis repaired the peroneal tendon in my right and left foot. He is an outstanding surgeon. He continued to treat me for pain in my right foot until he found the problem.

First impression not good, I’m 55 and my ankle shifts and is bone on bone! My Orthopaedic surgeon refered me for this. I wanted to hold off as long as I can , because none of my surgeries help! Seems I’m an orthopedic’s nightmare! He ordered a custom fitted brace to wear AT ALL TIMES! Well when the brace was done, I really disliked because I don’t wear shoes around the house and this brace had no top strap to keep the plastic hinged bottom from falling! So I was using an ace bandage wrapped around it! Followed up with Dr Davis and was asking if there was any other brace that you didn’t have to wear your shoe with? Or had he any ideas? Quote “ No there isn’t, I feel like I’m talking to one of my kids!” Just wear the brace at all times! Now I need a surgery and I am not comfortable with him! Do Drs not understand that bedside manner is critical on making that patient comfortable and safe. Or even seeing them again! Who wants someone cutting on them that they are uncomfortable with? Wish u had been less abrasive! Because your probably a great surgeon!

Dr. Alan Davis is one of the BEST surgeons I have ever been associated with. He just performed ankle fusion surgery on my right ankle. The skill and expertise of this wonderful doctor , is only matched by his compassion for his patients. He would be an excellent choice if you need foot or ankle surgery . His follow up care is excellent. God bless you doctor.

Had a appointment to talk about surgery. I already have braces. I got them 10 month ago. Because I was told I have sarcodisis. But pain is so bad wanted his thoughts. Very rude and didn’t help at all. Cried when I left office. He said how the braces doing? I saidThey help some. But now I need surgery. He said the braces will help with balance and help me not eat so much. With pain. I was done at eat so much. I gained 70 lbs. On steroids. Thank Dr. I know I fat. Think he forgot the gift God has gave him. Now looking for another surgeon. Any help to find one.
