I was referred here from another dental office for an anterior root canal procedure on tooth #10 and an evaluation of the reabsorption on tooth #9. The dental hygienist and the endodontist were very thorough and efficient. They explained to me clearly what was going on with those problem teeth I have, proceeded on the root canal treatment promptly after my consent on the procedure, and gave me after care instructions. The office didn’t upsell me anything nor tacked on extra or ridiculously exorbitant charges that I had the prior unfortunate experience at two other dental offices I had been to in Rocky River hence I never had gone back to do any procedure at all after initial consultation. Overall, I was happy with the outright honest and efficient dental care I received from Northcoast Endodontic Specialists at Westlake.

I had a root canal procedure today and had an excellent experience at this office-From scheduling, follow up and the procedure itself. Dr. Attar and her assistant were kind, professional and made sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Attar.

I had a root canal today, and I was incredibly anxious going into it because I had never had one. Tracy and Dr. Chris Thompson were so patient and kind and reassuring. The procedure did not take nearly as long as I expected, and I can honestly say I felt absolutely no pain during it. Now that the Novacaine has worn off, there is slight discomfort - which he told me to expect - but nothing that a couple Advil can’t handle. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me! Have a Merry Christmas!

I came in for a root canal with Dr Attar. I was told by her to take Motrin for the pain and to let her know if it didn’t work. I immediately took the Motrin when I got home to get ahead of the pain. Well as soon as the novicane wore off the throbbing began as did my issue with Dr Attar. I contacted her to request something stronger than Motrin and long story short after 5 phone calls and debating with her she finally prescribed 2 pain pills. I feel so disrespected by her. She treated me like I was a drug seeker and I will never get services with her again. I am not one to even take ibuprofen not long pain medication. However when I do I really need it. I feel I was a case of stereotypical assumption. Well just loss my business.

I’ve never had a root canal, and I needed one through a new crown. I saw Dr Flynn and his assistant Jamie. I could not be more pleased. I wasn’t nervous, but I was expecting there to be discomfort. I had a 100% pain free root canal. I didn’t even feel the injections of the numbing medication. He explained every step of the procedure before hand, and then while he was doing it. I have a history of brain and neck surgery, and he made sure I was comfortable and that I had adequate support and was able to turn my head. He went through my medical history and list of medications and made sure I had a script for pain meds, which I filled but didn’t need. I recommend him a million percent. There’s no need to be afraid of root canals. You just need a provider who knows how to do them. 🦷And Jamie was wonderful as well. She made sure I was comfortable and clean throughout the procedure. She was calm and kept me relaxed at the beginning before I met him, when I might have been a teensy but anxious. Everyone there was great.
