I hate going to the dentist, but I love coming here! I have had a few phone calls and everyone is always so nice! I have had one office visit so far and everyone was so nice, helpful, and non-judgmental. I called today to schedule my second of what will be many appointments, and I think this is the first time I haven’t dreaded going to the dentist.

The staff were nice and tried to be efficient . The office was clean. I was able to easily schedule online and get in quickly. BUT there was no dental hygienist in the office to do cleanings. The real issue I have with that is that no one felt it was necessary to notify me of that. This office called me twice prior to my appointment and never once gave the disclaimer that I would not be getting a cleaning, which was the main reason I booked an appointment. Even the staff I communicated with during my appointment did not bring this up on their own. When I was told my appointment was coming to an end, I asked if I was getting a cleaning and that’s when I was told there wasn’t even a hygienist in the office.

I asked for a filling on a cavity and he told me i needed 6 crowns and had 9 cavities. He claimed that because of the location I couldn’t get a filling. He wouldn’t give me the filling I wanted so I went somewhere else and got it done easily. If its an emergency, it’s still not worth it. I wouldn’t trust them. The staff was friendly besides the dentists. They made me feel pathetic like I didn’t take care of my teeth and was awful for having these cavities I’m not even sure I have.

Getting in was fast and easy, but I shouldn’t have needed to be in already, it’s been just about 2 years since my new full set dentures were made and they’ve broken 2 times already. The staff at the Elyria office are great. Very helpful and understanding. Would prefer that you didn’t use my name or photo.

Never have I ever been to a dentist that has you meet with the hygienist to talk about what you need cleaned. So I have to come back again for the cleaning. Not to mention, I am a new patient and today’s visit was JUST xrays and discuss what I need done on my teeth. I have to make 3 appointments for those services. Aspen Dental thinks I have nothing but time on my hands. Other than that...the entire office is up beat and personable.
