Dr Houston and his entire staff are the epitome of what patient care should be! Everyone is courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Dr Houston will not try to talk you into unnecessary procedures. If you need routine care or extensive work, look no further! I drive 45 minutes just to be seen at this office and it’s worth every mile!

At first everything was great! Until I received my dentures back from what Dr Houston calls the lab, meaning his lab. They were very poor quality and the teeth were not properly set. When addressed with Dr Houston alls he could do is lie and laugh about the whole process. I asked for my 5k back that he charged me, he laughed and said he was keeping it that it was for services rendered. Here are pics. Would anyone pay 5k+ for these dentures?!?

I can’t say enough about Dr. Houston and the fine staff at Palmetto Smiles in Lyman. He was not our primary pediatric dentist but our regular doctor was unable to fit us in his crowded schedule. Our son had a serious dental issue and they squeezed him in super early in the morning to try to get his problem remedied. After some initial tests and short observation period Dr. Houston concluded that a specialist would be better suited to take care of our son. He made a call to a colleague and set up yet another “emergency” appointment for us on the spot. After apologizing profusely for not being able to help he promptly refunded what we had paid him for the visit and sent us on our way. As we left he requested that I reach out to him after our appointment with his counterpart and let him know how our son was doing. You just don’t see that kind of care and integrity in the medical business much these days. The specialist he sent us to took great care of our son and was finally able to bring him some relief for a terrible abscess he’d been dealing with for days. Kudos to these fine gentlemen and their caring staffs. I am a fan for life!

Dr. Houston’s dental and office staff are thorough and they make me and my kids feel like we are the most important patients in their practice. I have many friends, who are also patients, that they think they are the most important patients in their practice too. We are made to feel welcome from the moment we walk in the door until the "see you next times" upon our exit. Dr. Houston is GREAT with my kids too. I highly recommend them.
