Had to make an appointment due to a broken filling. I was not a patient. They did fit me in to see Dr. Odom. The entire visit was virtually painless, and every staff member was kind and warm. Had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend!

Went yesterday to see Dr. Odom. I’ve had some bad dental work in the past by a corporate dental company. I saw Jamie, Cara and Dr. Odom yesterday. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the treatment I received. Jamie was so efficient and friendly with my x-rays. they were able to work me in for a cleaning with cara- who is the most gentle dental hygienist I’ve ever experienced. She NEVER hurt me or pressed on my face. Dr. Odom was so kind, had wonderful bedside manner and explained the plan for treatment thoroughly. He also was focused on ensuing my costs were minimal as well. Everyone I encountered was so kind, but I highly recommend requesting jamie, cara and Dr Odom if you can :).

I have procrastinated about finding a new dentist, since the beginning of COVID. Someone I know recommended this office, so I decided to bite the bullet and make an appointment. Well… I just can’t say enough about how awesome this place is! From the front desk staff, to the dental assistant, to the hygienist, and the sweetest dentist I have ever met, I couldn’t have felt more welcomed and at ease!! I can’t believe I’m saying this about a dental office, but it is true! My teeth have finally found a home here in Knoxville!! I’ve always felt like I walked into a sales room at many dental offices and never felt that they had my best interest at heart. Well, not here! Seriously, if you’re looking for a wonderful dentist and dental office this is the one for you! It certainly is the one for me!! 😊🫶 🦷🪥

I had initially scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Odom after hearing great things about Downtown Dental from a friend who’s a patient of Dr. Hickey. I really wanted to see Dr. Hickey, but at the time, she wasn’t available. However, when I arrived for my appointment, Dr. Hickey was able to see me after all (nothing against Dr. Odom—I’d just heard so many good things about Dr. Hickey!). To be honest, I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist and had avoided it for far too long, especially without medical insurance. But even before making the appointment, I had a good feeling about this place. The staff were incredibly helpful when I called about an issue with my tooth, and that gave me some comfort. I was still nervous when I arrived at the office, but that didn’t last long. The atmosphere in the office is so warm, modern, and welcoming. After being greeted by the receptionist and checking in, Tiffany brought me back for my appointment. She was fantastic and instantly made me feel at ease—she could definitely tell I was nervous! Then came the moment I’d been waiting for: meeting Dr. Hickey. What a relief! She’s like a breath of fresh air—so understanding, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. I’ve had bad dental experiences in the past, but she really reassured me that I was in good hands, and she wasn’t wrong! Dr. Hickey laid out a treatment plan for me, and I just finished another appointment today with her, Tiffany, and the rest of the amazing staff. Everything went so smoothly. I can’t recommend Downtown Dental enough! If you’re looking for a fantastic dentist, this is the place. And while I’m sure Dr. Odom is great too, I’m beyond thrilled with my experience with Dr. Hickey. I’m confident all my dental needs will be taken care of here. If I could give 15 stars, I would!

Dr.Odum might be the most outstanding practitioner I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is kind, caring, understanding, and truly wants to get to know you. I think most of us have anxiety of going to the dentist. I felt like I was in the chair with my best friend. The front office staff is just as awesome! You want to talk to them because they are all so upbeat and friendly! They also can’t say enough good things about each other! They are very inclusive to everyone! So everyone know its a safe place!!
