Simply the best! Dr Long and his staff make every visit easy. Dr Long is very empathetic and makes you feel very comfortable and cared for. He never pushes services you don’t need and focuses on your oral health. I’ve never encountered such a caring provider. I’ve gone to both locations and they are both wonderful.

For the past three years, I have been a patient at Ethan Long DDS, where I’ve generally had positive encounters with the dental team. However, my recent experiences with the billing department, particularly with a staff member named Amber, have been notably disappointing. Despite my previous experiences with the billing team being helpful and proactive, Amber’s approach was quite the opposite. Her responses felt generic and unhelpful, lacking the personalized attention I’ve come to expect. A significant concern was her refusal to contact my insurance provider to clarify billing discrepancies. This was especially frustrating given that I was initially informed that my insurance was in-network, only to discover later that it wasn’t. Amber’s explanation that they can only provide estimates and are unable to confirm the exact costs until after the service is charged was unsettling. This lack of transparency regarding insurance coverage and actual costs is a stark departure from the standard of service I have experienced in the past at this practice. The overall handling of my situation during this visit was not in line with the high standards of customer care I’ve previously experienced at Ethan Long DDS. Regrettably, this has led me to cancel my future appointments. While I have generally enjoyed my visits to this dental office, the recent billing issues, compounded by Amber’s lackluster service, have compelled me to seek dental care elsewhere. It’s unfortunate that such an aspect of the practice can significantly impact the overall patient experience.

Called the Downtown and Maryville office regarding a missed phone call for a patient. Both offices were extremely friendly and helpful! Professional and accommodating! Highly recommend based on first impressions alone!

I don’t often leave Google reviews, but I felt that I had to for this one. This was honestly the best dental experience I’ve ever had! All the staff were so kind, and Dr. Long was phenomenal. You could tell he really takes the time to get to know his patients and make them feel comfortable. The office is modern, and they have created a very welcoming atmosphere there. Dr. Long answered all my questions extremely thoroughly and really took the time to educate and chat with me about my concerns. I tend to be more holistically focused, just as a side note, and I really feel like I was heard and understood in that. My mind was definitely put at ease with my experience here, and for the first time I feel confident about my dental plan of action going forward! I can’t recommend them enough!
