Frequently Asked Questions

How do you help patients who are nervous or afraid of going to the dentist?

We've built our practice to feel less like a clinic and more like home. Our long-tenured team takes a gentle, low-pressure approach, we explain everything before we do it, go at your pace, and never rush you into treatment. We walk through your options and a clear treatment plan together so there are no surprises, and you're always in control. Many patients who've avoided the dentist for years tell us this is the first office where they actually feel relaxed.

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule so we can offer the time to another patient. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments, are subject to a $75 fee. A quick call to (978) 372-0600 is all it takes to move your visit.

Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm. We don't offer weekend hours, but our early 7:00am start makes it easy to come in before work or school. We're closed Friday through Sunday.

We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and most dental insurance. For treatment you'd like to spread out over time, we offer CareCredit and Cherry financing, plus an in-house plan for patients without insurance. Our front desk is happy to review your options and find what works for your budget.

We're located at 323 S Main St in the Bradford section of Haverhill, served by Merrimack Valley Transit (MeVa) bus routes.

We offer free on-site parking right at the office, including accessible spaces near the entrance, so you can park and walk straight in.

Please complete your new-patient forms ahead of time (we can email them or you can fill them out online), and bring your photo ID and insurance card. Have a list of any medications you take handy. Brush as you normally would, no fasting or special prep is needed

Your first visit is about getting to know you and your smile. We'll review your health history, take any necessary digital X-rays, and the doctor will do a thorough exam, checking your teeth, gums, bite, and screening for any concerns. We'll talk through what we find together and build a treatment plan that fits your goals, at your pace.

Plan for about 60 to 90 minutes. That covers your paperwork review, X-rays, a full exam with the doctor, and time to discuss your findings and next steps without feeling rushed.

Just stop by the front desk when you arrive and let us know you're here. Our team will confirm your information and insurance and let you know you're all set.

If you've completed your forms ahead of time, you can arrive right at your appointment time. If not, please come 10–15 minutes early so we can get your paperwork and insurance verified before you're seen.

Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card, your completed new-patient forms (if you haven't submitted them online), and a list of any medications you're currently taking.

In many cases, yes, your first visit often includes a cleaning along with your exam and X-rays. If the doctor finds that your gums need a more involved cleaning (such as a deep cleaning), we'll explain why and schedule that separately so it's done properly. We'll always let you know what to expect before anything is done.

Your information is protected under HIPAA and handled with strict confidentiality. Records are stored securely, and we only share information with your consent or as required for your care. If you ever have a question about your privacy, just ask. We're glad to walk you through it.

Yes. We can email your new-patient forms before your visit, or you can complete them online, so you arrive ready to be seen.

We're an appointment-based practice, but we do our best to see dental emergencies the same day. Call us at (978) 372-0600 and we'll find you the soonest available time.

Please call us at (978) 372-0600 as soon as you can. If you're running a few minutes late, let us know and we'll do our best to still see you. To cancel or reschedule, we ask for 48 hours' notice; changes with less than 48 hours' notice or missed appointments are subject to a $75 fee

We keep things calm, gentle, and pressure-free. Our experienced team explains each step, gives you breaks whenever you need them, and makes sure you're comfortable and numb before any work begins. Our "feels like home" environment and steady, familiar staff go a long way toward putting anxious patients at ease.

Our office is wheelchair accessible (ADA Compliant, ramps, etc), with accessible parking near the entrance and an accessible restroom. Let us know if you need any accommodation and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

Yes, we have a comfortable waiting area that welcomes families, and our team is great with kids and nervous first-timers.

We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA, and most dental insurance. For financing, we offer CareCredit and Cherry, as well as an in-house plan for uninsured patients. We'll help you understand your coverage and out-of-pocket costs before treatment.

We send reminders by text, email, and phone call so you never miss a visit. You can let us know your preferred method, and we'll reach out the way that works best for you.

Your safety is a priority. We follow strict sterilization and infection-control standards — all instruments are heat-sterilized, treatment areas are disinfected between every patient, and our team uses proper protective equipment. We hold ourselves to current CDC and ADA infection-control guidelines so you can relax knowing the office is clean and safe.
