They pulled one tooth and my insurance covered it. But then forced to pay $130 for a so called mandatory collagen to be placed in gum where tooth was pulled! This is crazy because I have had several teeth pulled in my lifetime and was NEVER told I need some collagen for $130 out of pocket costs when they already charged my insurance for $300 for ONE tooth??????Then after only one visit all paid for u get call from my insurance telling me Coast Dental askibg for $700 more for some procedure I never even got!! Fraud! Then I was told I needed $629 AND $1400 altogether when I make a future appt. For all my teeth to be pulled plus collagen plus temporary dentures until I get my permanent ones that my insurance covers. This is the worst dental experience in my life ever experienced!!!

I’m embarrassed to admit how long it’s been since I’ve been to a dentist. Due to depression and financial hardship.. when I told them it’s been years there was no judgement, only support. I needed a deep cleaning because of this and they were great and did it all in 1 session instead of the usual 4 to help bring down the cost for me. I believe the hygienists name was Ana, and she was incredibly thorough and patient. She did several sets of X-rays and touched up any spots that were missed the first time around. She took her time explaining everything and had someone else help explain when I didn’t understand. Overall I think I spoke with 3-4 different providers there and all of them were so nice and caring. I was told I needed some cavities filled and they again worked with me to schedule some at the same time to help me with the cost of it. I have some other issues they are giving me different treatment options for to again help with the cost. They were all so helpful and understanding and patient. I went from feeling ashamed of myself for how bad I let my teeth get to feeling good that I came in to get started on making them better. They even sent me home with a bottle of medicated mouth wash as a courtesy. Truly cannot recommend this office enough. The only thing I will say is that I made an appointment through the call center and when I got to the office the receptionist told me they double booked for my appointment time. Thankfully the other person cancelled so I was seen. However this should be something the owner looks into and remedies because having a call center is only beneficial if it works properly.

I made an appointment weeks ago, filled out all of my paperwork, and also confirmed it last week. However, today (less than one business day from my scheduled appointment) I received a voicemail telling me that I needed to call the office and reschedule. When I called them back, the receptionist told me my appointment had been canceled and could offer me no explanation as to why they did that. He told me the next available appointment was over 6 weeks away. He was not friendly and did not offer any type of apology for the cancellation or the inconvenience. I had already taken off work, etc. I will never be using this office due to the apparent lack of concern for their customer’s time and wellbeing.

My doctor was great she handle my extractions tender, I was comfortable, but a little scared. Only discomfort I had. Is the lady that work with the doctor she do suctions from my mouth .she needs to be considered and more gently .she was braising on my Gum ,she place the cotton in my mouth very hard.she needs to be more tender and gently .but otherwise the service was very greatly , I would recommend coast dental to the world .service was great .I wouldn’t go no where else.

It was a very pleasant appointment. The Dentist was very nice, professional and caring. I had 5 teeth pulled and it made me like going to the Dentist. My fears were gone. Thank you Coast Dental. I look forward to allowing you to continue to serve me. I will recommend you 100 times.
