WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER !!! **I DONT RECOMMEND***** Fist off I was in serious pain due to a root canal I called their office at 2:30 and asked if they had any available appointments today. The receptionist advised me that they had one at 3:45. As i Arrived, I filled out paperwork and then got called back at 4:15 when I sat down, they did x-rays and then all of a sudden the doctor tells me that she has another patient to do and that all of a sudden I was “fit in” so to please come back at 5 . I left, came back and the doctor didn’t come into the room until 5:40. The doctor puts me in all my gear and I tell the nurse “please tell receptionist my mother will be in to take care of payment at the end”. The doctor lays me back , has all of her tools out and finally places the laughing gas on my nose. 5 minutes has gone by and the receptionist comes in and STOPS everything and says “please provide me your moms # I’m going to call her to get her CC# over the phone to save her a trip” I’m confused due to this laughing gas so I take it off and say “huh” then she repeated herself and I proceed to give her my moms # and said “she’s in a meeting she might not answer” . Her entire mood changed! So she stood in front of me the ENTIRE time and asked me to text her to make sure she is here on time. She continued to go on and on about how she NEEDS my copay before they close at 7 and she wants to make sure they have it. So I look at her and said “ma’am you advised me the payment is paid AFTER my procedure” she said “it is I just want to make sure it’s here before 7”. So she’s literally standing in front of me staring at my phone while I’m texting her. And then the doctor says “ well we can just do the procedure another day”.. after that I was SO SHOCKED and confused!!!!! I’ve NEVER been into a doctors office where in the middle of the procedure I’m stopped and harassed about making sure a payment is here before they close and on top of that being in so much pain and the doctor not only pushing back my appointment but telling me we can reschedule as if I didn’t have the money or they were scared I was going to just leave right after my appointment. Keep in mind I’m African American who was dressed extremely down that day.. So I grabbed all of my belongings and walked out. This was the MOST uncomfortable feeling I’ve ever felt!!!
