Cleaning 2I really loved the experience here. I felt so comfortable and the staff were so kind and warm. Dr. Chavez was very knowledgeable and was constantly making sure that I was comfortable. I am not a fan of the dentist but this experience really helped me be at ease.

Update: After 5 years been Dr. Chavez patient, I can more confidently say that my first review is still what I feel. He is still as patient, if not more, than when I first met him. He really cares about his patients and will do everything he can until you feel comfortable and happy. I feel very lucky to find him when I did. If I can’t decide on a treatment, I trust his recommendations because I trust him more than I trust myself. I would give him a 10 star rating if I could. I highly recommend Dr Chavez for any of your dental needs. He is the most patient, professional, and knowledgeable dentist I’ve ever known. After a terrible experience with another dentist, who made a horrible bridge for my 6 front teeth, he patiently heard all of my frustrations and painful experiences and took the time to explain what he could do for me and now I have a bridge that is very comfortable and beautiful. I am so grateful to Dr. Chavez and his staff. They all really care and make you feel like family or a friend, not just another patient

I came to Dr.Chavez because he had great reviews. He was very welcoming and the staff was friendly.I have Cigna through my employer and based off my plan I am eligible for cleanings covered 100%. I allowed the team to do X-rays because it has been over a year since I’ve had X-rays done. I have never had a cavity or any major issues with my teeth in my life. I only came in for a cleaning because I know this is all I needed. I was told by Dr Chavez I would have my teeth for a very long time due to it not being any issues. On my coverages for Dr Chavez his cleanings are listed as $46 and it’s covered 100%. The lady who works front desk was sent in trying to convince me that it’s a once in a lifetime cleaning I needed that my insurance doesn’t cover or a deep cleaning that would be $148. I expressed that I would not pay for that and I wanted the cleaning my coverage is paying for. Dr Chavez then returned and tried to convince me as well. As I went to my coverages I let him know I never in life paid that much for a deep cleaning with or without insurance. And I wanted to know the term for this special cleaning. Fluoride does not even cost that much. I understand things are bad for us all right now but this was insane. I honestly felt like I did not even need X-rays I NEVER HAD A ISSUE WITH MY TEETH and always get them cleaned. I just thought I had a new dentist so decided to get the X-rays to have them on file, but I probably won’t be returning. I also graduated from Dental Assisting school so I am knowledgeable on procedures. I don’t suffer with perio or anything. Im still confused as to what cleaning this was and why it would have been so much. Sad to say I would’ve paid for what my coverages paid for if I did not know any better.

This is the dentist to go. It’s a small dental office with only one dentist. Dr. Chavez is very knowledgeable, gentle and nice. He will spend time with you and explain your options, and will do anything and everything to save your tooth. The staff is equally nice. I strongly recommend their services.

Phenomenal. I have been terrified of the dentist since a young age and have many issues needing attended to because I had avoided seeing a dentist for over 10 years. Dr. Chavez is very patient and understanding - he really does listen to his patients and takes the utmost care to ensure your comfort and put your anxieties at ease. I have had X-rays, cleaning, extraction, fillings on 5 teeth, and a veneer done by him and the quality of work is outstanding. To put things in perspective: Dr. Chavez had me go outside in the sunlight with a mirror to make sure the color of my fillings were perfect. I have seen a lot of local practitioners to get an idea of what I needed to do to get back on track with my dental health - none were as reasonable or realistic as Dr. Chavez. I was provided options that would work for me and my budget. The staff is equally great - they all seem to care about patients and treat them like people instead of a number. As embarrassed as I am about how bad my teeth were starting out I have attached a before and after of my most recent procedure to show the quality of work and attention to detail.
