Dr. Craig A. Sater, DDS

I had to give one star because there’s no zero star option. Do not go here! I am new to the area and gave this place a try. After an exam and X-rays I was given a list of 7 things I “needed“ to have done. I was very skeptical since 6 months earlier at my last exam I had no such list at my long time dentist office. I went to another office and suddenly there is no “list”. I wish I had taken the reviews here to heart but hope to help someone else.

I originally posted this review several months ago, and decided it finally needed revision. Staff are great. Otherwise I would give them only one star. This is perhaps the worst dentist I’ve ever been to. Very rough on the mouth and poor quality work to boot. He caught the bottom of my tongue with the drill ... didn’t even bother to apologize. Seems like he just wants to get through his day as quickly as possible, and appears to have absolutely no pride in his work. Now I’m having to edit my review again, and have decided to lower the rating to one star. Having not heard from this office in over 7 months... just 6 days after I posted my revised review, I suddenly receive a bill for past due service, threatening me with "further action" if I don’t call their office. There is no detail on the bill just a handwritten note that says, "Balance due after insurance payment received." After receiving this notice, I reviewed my insurance payments, and it turned out they actually owed me money, NOT vice versa. I communicated the details of the payments to them both in writing and via phone call. They had been sitting on that money for over 7 months, and it took them another 8 weeks or so to actually pay me back!

Thankful to have found a good dentist. It has taken awhile for me to go back and have my teeth worked on because of painful past experiences but Dr. Sater made all the difference in the world. He explained what he was doing and it was over before I knew it. I am not hesitant to get the rest of the work that needs to be done now. Ashley (my dental assistant) was awesome! She is very patient and did a very great job with me throughout the procedures. The woman (sorry I forgot her name) who did my cleaning was kind and did a good job. Everyone in the office was pleasant and helpful. I definitely recommend this dentist.

I wish I had read the reviews before seeing this dentist. I came in for a broken tooth. They did X-rays said I had 6 cavities. Broken tooth couldn’t be fixed so it was pulled with another one. 2 teeth removed and Three cavities filled. 1728$ The back tooth that was according to them a deep fill now needs a root canal. I wasn’t told this at the first appointment, but after a month suffering in pain. The dentist is apparently an introvert so he doesn’t say much, or you can’t hear him and the staff doesn’t communicate with you what was said.

Entire staff is very friendly, they take the time to explain things, they know people don’t usually get excited to go to the dentist so they really go above and beyond to make it a great experience. They also have highly experienced Dr’s and techs with pretty much every service a dentist can have including implants and sedation dentistry (pill, nitrous and IV). I appreciate every staff member!
