Treatment Plan 2Visited today for the first time, went in as a walk-in for a non-emergency (chipped molar). The receptionist was extremely kind and very helpful, she was able to get me added as a new patient/checked in very fast. The wait time was surprisingly reasonable, especially given the fact I arrived only ten minutes prior to the cut off time. *FAIR WARNING - if you choose to walk-in instead of scheduling an appointment, you will have to wait for a potentially long amount of time, depending on their scheduled appts for that day. Every walk in patient is worked in between other patients who scheduled their appointments in advance. For me, it was no problem as I planned on the wait - but it is worth mentioning. To give an idea, I went during a weekday, from the time I arrived at the office to the time I walked out, it was roughly 2~2.5 hours total. A student tech handled my X rays, she was very skilled and moved efficiently. Dr. C was my dentist and she was incredible! Extremely intelligent, kind, sincere and progressional, I literally could not have asked for a better dentist. She explained my problem to me very clearly and presented a straightforward treatment plan that she reinforced with her positivity and sincerity. I interacted with a total of 4 student techs during my visit and every single one of them was outstanding. 10/10 service for an unbeatable price. They are very transparent regarding treatment options/prices and encourage you to ask questions. If you’re unsure of an amount, all you have to do is ask. Fantastic experience, happy to say that will be returning as an active patient!!

My husband left with more pain than he went in with, he was there for X-rays and a full evaluation to get a treatment plan. No one was helping the student, whoever was supposed to be with him was too busy attempting to flirt with 2 girls, this place was so unprofessional they couldn’t care less if they have a patient. My husband felt ignored and he already has irritation in his gums and he was cut multiple times and has even more pain and irritation. If I could rate it 0 we would.

I went to this place to get an extraction after agreeing to pay the price of what they said it would cost she sticks a needle in the roof of my mouth right in the middle, which I think it’s very uncommon it’s supposed to go more towards the gum by the bad tooth when she inserted the needle it was EXTREMELY painful, but worse than normal. Instantly the roof of my mouth started producing fluid bubbles. She then 10 minutes later try to extract the tooth and was very frustrated when I told her that I was not numb and that I could still feel everything. after getting frustrated she said that she was not going to pull it and referred me to an oral surgeon with a referral. Then waited six months to see the oral surgeon and was not able to get the tooth removed because she did not write the referral the correct way instead of putting extract tooth number 12 and 3 she put diagnose and treat as needed. That is not the way to write an extraction referral for an oral surgeon. I ended up in the hospital two days after being at the school with the fluid bubbles in the roof of my mouth, and they told me it was from aggressive insertion of the needle. It was the worst experience of my entire life.

These people are angels, I had an abscessed tooth and everyone was so compassionate during my misery, the dentist too was fantastic, she did her best to not add to the discomfort while extracting.. great job she did ! Also prices were affordable which was almost as much of a relief as the extraction was.. 5 stars ! Thank you doc !

Awesome place! Had to remove 3 teeth, including 1 wisdom tooth. I was out of there within the hour. The students were very nice and courteous. Dr. Steve was a very, very nice Dr. Very happy with the outcome. I recommend this Hillsborough County Dental if you need a tooth removed for a fraction of the cost of a high rate dental office. Thank you again Dr. Steve.
