I have done work 90% on my mouth. Dr. Ruiz just did a Apicoectomy , the experience was unbelievable. I went to the appointment extremely nervous the staff made me at ease right away and calmed my nerves. They are really very professional, nice and caring. Thank you guys, for making this scary procedure pleasant .

I thought I was going to lose my tooth. It was in bad shape. My regular dentist wanted to pull it, but she referred me to Dr. Ruiz just in case. He was amazing! Not only did he save the tooth with a root canal, he built it up so beautifully, in preparation for the crown. It looks like it used to before I ruined it. He also did it so fast. The last time I had a root canal, it was at a chain place and it was horrible. I had a real fear of dentists from bad experiences growing up. It was so hard to force myself to go. Dr Carter at Tampa Family Health helped me get over my fear. Dr Ruiz showed me what a root canal should be like. Painless, fast, professional, and highest quality. The whole staff was great. They were friendly and helpful. If you need a root canal, go to Dr Ruiz. It’s worth it.

I would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Alberto A Ruiz D.M.D. for an excellent job on a root Cannal on my #14 tooth. He is so gentle when injecting the anesthesia on the outside of my gum I didn’t feel any pain, when he injected the anesthesia on the inside, I did feel a little pinch of pain from the tiny needle, nothing to complain about. During the procedure, I had absolutely no pain, this Gentleman is such a professional, he informed you how he is doing, I got to the office late at 11:00am , fill out paperwork, had the procedure done and was out by 12:15 pm, I can’t believe how fast and efficient Dr. Ruiz and his staff was. If I could give 10 stars I would, but this is my 5 Star review, don’t hesitate to use his service, and share your experience, so someone else can benefit. Thank you

Needed a root canal and made an appointment since Dr. Ruiz was listed as a provider on my dental insurance. They call me as I’m pulling into the parking lot to say they won’t take my ins. Call my ins co. He’s on the list. Ins Co calls Dr Ruiz office. They hadn’t bothered to inform ins co that they weren’t going to take my ins anymore. This has delayed care for a painful dental problem. Seems unethical to be on the list, make the appointment, and tell the patient five minutes before the appointment that they won’t accept my insurance!

The front desk personnel and dental assistant were all very kind, professional and helpful. Dr. Ruiz was none of those. Due to a lifelong anxiety and panic disorder, I was dealing with a lot of anxiety over a root canal I had to have done. As a nurse, I understand that certain procedures or even the treatment environment itself can induce feelings of fear, stress and powerlessness. Someone needs to teach Dr. Ruiz how to treat patients who may be experiencing these symptoms rather than sighing, throwing down what he is holding and snapping at his capable dental assistant. I won’t be going to this dentist again and will ensure no one I know does either. At the end of the visit, he walked out of the room without saying goodbye or offering the slightest pleasantry. Throughout the procedure, I was quiet, tried to hold very still (I was scared to move because he had exhibited such a short fuse) and kind. I asked for nothing and didn’t say a word. I will let Dr. Ruiz be an example of how not to act with my patients and as an affirmation of what kindness and compassion in a space of treatment can achieve for those I am tasked to provide care for.
