Do not waste your time here! my daughter had appoinment at 11am, they told me to come 15 minutes early for her paper work. The girl at the front office was nice. However I waited for an hour in a waiting never call her name. Finally we went in and waited another 30 minutes to meet doctor... BUT we never get to see the doctor. No point of waiting 1 hour 35 mimutes for consultation. I left the office and contact another Orthodotist. Just don’t come here! waste of your time and money. Also the office was very old, not clean too.

Don’t waste your money or time here. He rush his work and does a half job. Not only was my time and money wasted I have to find another orthodontist to correct my child’s teeth because with this ortho everything falls apart and they over charge you for replacing what falls apart a week after receiving treatment. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Not respectful of time, over books to fill his pockets! Staff are rude about the masks. You should never have to wait 2 hours for a visit that literally takes 15 minutes in front of the doctor!! Still waiting! So I may have to come back here and update actual wait time. They are saying she needs pics and people are walking around all over the office and no one can take her pics?? What is this?

As someone who recently completed treatment with Dr. Chin, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and want to thank Dr. Chin and his staff for always being accommodating and welcoming. Due to my hectic schedule, I was able to visit the Tampa, Plant City, and Lithia locations throughout the course of my treatment. Each visit I was welcomed by his staff and they kept me updated on fees/insurance coverage for my treatment. Since I did not want to go through a second set of braces, Dr. Chin was able to develop a treatment plan to correct my teeth with a series of clear aligners and retainers. Each visit he would show me my initial visit photos, show me what has changed and explain the next step of treatment. I appreciate that Dr. Chin was honest about what he could accomplish and clear of what his treatment goals were. I would recommend Dr. Chin as an orthodontist to my family and friends. He truly cares about his patients and his community !

Florida orthodontic institute is the worst orthodontist office in Tampa. I do not recommend them. Dr. Chin is only concerned with making money and does not care about his patients. He has a high employee turnover, which means inexperienced assistants are working on your teeth. They frequently make mistakes and are slow. On top of that they overbook patients resulting in long wait times. Every adjustment appointment is over an hour long. Dr. Chin cuts corners wherever he can in your treatment. Throughout my entire treatment he gave me expired elastics to use. He will not fix broken brackets. He also uses outdated technology resulting in longer treatment times. All of his offices are rundown and need serious updating. Dr. Chin does not answer any questions you have and completely dismisses your concerns. He does not explain your treatment or progress. After over 2 years of treatment Dr. Chin attempted to remove my braces even though they were clearly not ready to be off. I still had a gap in my two front teeth, multiple teeth were rotated, my bottom teeth were more crowded then when I started treatment, and he left huge gaps next to my incisors that were too big to be fixed with bonding like he suggested. I ended up having to switch to another orthodontist to finish my treatment. I lost time and money trusting Dr. Chin with my teeth please don’t make the same mistakes I did. My entire experience with him has been a nightmare, I could go on but do not want to make this review excessively long. Lastly, he has a $75 amazon gift card raffle for anyone that leaves him a review. I would keep that in mind when looking at any 5-star reviews people leave him.
