My initial experience was great, however, in the last 9 months I kept getting cancellations/reschedules. I understand that stuff may come up, but to have so many come up back to back near when my appointments were coming up was making it very disruptive to my schedule and I unfortunately had to go see another dentist office to get cleaning.

University Family Dentristry is by far the most efficient dental office I have ever been to and at 72 years young and a lifetime of moving around I have been to many. These dentists, especially Dr Dickens have hit a home run with this all women staffed office that always seems to run on schedule. Been going to University Family Dentistry for approx 10 years and recommend them to everyone.

Thought this was going to be a professional and caring place. After 2 reschedules, 2 months out, and another for another month out, it was clear to me that I wasn’t a valuable enough patient. I scheduled time off work to make the last appointment they called to, RESCHEDULE! Hopefully I’ll find another dentist that cares about my time and my situation. THIS PLACE DOES NOT!

This practice is outstanding. My husband had a cracked molar on Sunday before a holiday. He was in pain. I left a message with 15+ dentist offices in the Gainesville and ocala area. University Family Dentistry was the only office to call back on Monday [holiday] with an appointment the next day. The office staff was warm, welcoming and efficient. This is the absolute best dental office I have ever been to. I am so lucky to have found them.

Dr Dickens at University Family Dentistry provides the most thorough, compassionate, and effective care that I’ve ever received from a dentist. I originally came in with a horrible fear of the dentist from bad childhood experiences. From the first call I made to University Family Dentistry, I was met with so much understanding and gentleness from all of the staff. I now actually look forward to my appointments! I highly recommend this practice, especially Dr Dickens!
