I was greeted with a warm smile by the receptionist. After a brief wait, I was escorted back to see hygienist and the dentist. A quick consultation and the dental hygienist went to work on my teeth cleaning. Erika is very gentle and explains each step that’s being taken. I totally enjoy my visit to Coast in new Tampa.

I’ve been going there for at least 7 years. I’ve never had any issues and they’ve taken great care when doing X-rays and cleaning. I have some TMJ issues and they are always considerate during my appointment. They’re upfront about cost and they’ve never pressured me into buying anything. The facility is always neat and clean. The ladies are always so friendly as well. I’ve been lucky in finding great dentist and their assistants, so I’ll continue to go.

I went for the first time 2 weeks ago, although the appointment ran way too long (4 hours) because of wait time between seeing the dentist and the hygienist, it was still a good experience. I went back today for a followup so the dentist could check something. It was supposed to be a quick 10 min appointment and she promised me I would be taken right away at 8:30 am when they opened because I had a busy day today. I have an appointment card they wrote that says 8:30 am as well as a text reminder/confirmation that the appointment was for 8:30 am. I got to the office on time and waited 20 min, assuming maybe they were just having a slow start to their morning. I then asked when I might be taken back and they said that my appointment was showing as 9:20 in their system and have no idea why. They then said the best they can do is maybe take me back in 10 minutes, but no guarantee when I will actually be seen by the dentist though. I understand that it was a system error or something, but it’s still not okay that their mistake/error should cost me my time. Their solution was to still see me essentially at the time that their system changed my appointment to. I left because I was not able to wait longer. Basically, if you have an appointment there, don’t rely on the appointment card they write and the confirmation texts they send. Their system may just change your appointment without any notification and then you will not be able to be accommodated.

I had a broken temporary crown. Called the office at 8:30am and I was given an appointment right away. Roxana was excellent, very professional and well trained. She has "magic " hands. The new temporary crown fits and feels great. In general great staff and excellent service.

I visited this dental office for a routine teeth cleaning. Initially, they conducted X-rays of my teeth, but the procedure felt somewhat rough, causing me to feel nauseous. Subsequently, they presented an estimate for the cleaning, quoting a price of $120. I inquired about the possibility of using my insurance to cover the cost, but unfortunately, I found their response unclear. Despite my uncertainty, I proceeded to sign off on the estimate and allowed them to proceed with the cleaning. During the cleaning process, I experienced numbness in my mouth, which was surprising as they had not informed me beforehand about the anesthesia. Additionally, the water used during the cleaning accidentally wet my shirt. Overall, I found their approach to be somewhat rough. Upon completion of the cleaning, I was provided with toothpaste and mouth rinse. However, upon checking out and paying the $120, I was surprised to find that the receipt indicated separate charges of $15 for the toothpaste and $16 for the mouth rinse. Furthermore, a few days later, I received an additional charge of $81, which was not covered by my insurance, bringing the total to $201. While I acknowledge that I should have scrutinized the estimate more closely before proceeding with the cleaning, the overall experience has left me dissatisfied, and I do not plan to return to this dental office.
