My experience at Tarpon Dental was excellent. The staff is very knowledgeable and sensitive to a patient’s individual needs. They prioritize quality care and patient comfort. They also do an excellent job providing education and information regarding oral health.

As a colleague and being in this industry for over a quarter of a century, I happily report that Dr Amin and her staff gave me superb service yesterday. They allowed me to help them give me exactly what I wanted and no more. I was seen expediently and I received a feeling of an understanding of my needs from her staff that was respectful and intelligent. We dentists are not the easiest to have work done on us, so I commend the staff on conversing with me and working with the doctor to give what they do best, great care! I had fun and although I also had some moments of fear of the unknown of what would be discovered in my teeth and gums, I trusted that I was in good hands. Thank you for preserving the profession!

I’ve been going to this dental office for two years since I moved to Florida in Nov 2018. I have very good teeth so I only need to go for checkups and cleanings every six months. I won’t be going back. Each time I go, they try to push extra treatments and tests that my insurance won’t cover. They don’t bother to ask me, they just tell me they’re going to do these procedures and they make it sound routine. So I have to remind them that my insurance doesn’t cover the oral cancer screening and the fluoride treatment. And when I say I don’t want it, the mood changes as if I’ve done something wrong. The dental hygienists are always very friendly but it gets awkward when I refuse a non-covered treatment. At my last visit on May 20, 2021 after the hygienist finished cleaning my teeth, Dr Amin came over, checked my teeth and walked away without saying anything besides hello. I thought that was odd and kind of cold. As I was leaving, I was told by the hygienist that next time they would get me to do the fluoride treatment. I reminded her that it would have been $51 out-of-pocket for both additional treatments. I don’t know what’s going on but I don’t feel welcome unless I pay for something additional that I don’t want or need. I’m currently looking for a new dentist.

First off I am 65 years old & have lost 1 molar. I have found 2 excellent dentists. One in Michigan that I went to for 25 years and the other is Dr Amin. I went to several dentists here in Florida with mixed results before finding Dr Amin. Her staff is excellent & I am sure she expects nothing less. I highly recommend Tarpon Dental for the best dental care in this area.

Very good, pleasant environment. Dr. Amin and staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Good equipment, up to date technology. My wife and I will be customers/patients a long time!
