Haashitha is awesome. First time in a long time that I’m not afraid to see a dentist’s office. Front desk is very nice and helpful. Wesley Chapel Coastal Dental is also very accommodating with my schedule. Looking forward to a pretty, healthy smile! Update: third visit, this time for my crowns. Dentist and his assistant were great. Good demeanor and kept asking me if I was ok. I was more nervous than I needed to be. So far I’m am very pleased with how everyone treats me and the service. No pain dentist. I like that!

I always have a great experience at Coast Dental Wesley Chapel. Everyone is so kind, courteous and accommodating. My dental hygienist whose name I cannot remember is always so gentle when doing my cleaning and taking x-rays. I wish I could remember his name. I would highly recommend Coast Dental in Wesley Chapel

We arrived on time and we’re greeted very cordially. The appointment started shortly after we arrived. As we got to the area where the procedure was to take place there was much to discuss and papers to sign. Once we got past that and the work began they were very understanding of how a patient might feel and react to some of the things that were happening.

Worst experience EVER! I had my first appointment today and it went as bad as it could possibly go. I specifically requested this date and time so that I could get my exam and cleaning done at the same time. I even clarified this on the phone when booking my appointment. However, once I was there I was told there was no dentist on site and I needed to do a virtual call with one. First, we did X-rays and then I awkwardly stood there for about 10 minutes while they tried to get the panoramic X-ray machine to connect. It never did, so we decided to do without it. I then went back to the exam room to “meet” the dentist. Once again, they were having issues, so I sat there for another 20+ minutes while they tried to connect with a dentist over a Zoom call. Yes, a Zoom call. Once they finally got it to work, I spoke to her for all of 30 seconds while she told me I had no cavities and that she agrees with the treatment plan the hygienist made. Once the call was over, the hygienist casually slid a paper into my lap telling me that I needed something called a “gingivitis therapy cleaning”, which of coarse, is not covered by my insurance and that it would be over $1000. I then told him I just wanted the cleaning that was covered by my insurance and he told me I was risking the license of the dentist (aka the virtual dentist who was diagnosing people over Zoom calls) and that wasn’t possible. So I paid my $15 copay for them doing absolutely nothing and now I’m looking for another dentist because I still need a cleaning done. After researching “gingivitis therapy” I’ve learned that a deep cleaning would have sufficed and that Coast Dental is a bunch of scam artists who want to do unnecessary procedures on you and steal your money. Learn from my bad experience and avoid at all costs!!

I had two fillings done at my appointment yesterday and I didn’t feel a thing. I was comfortable from the time I sat in the chair till the time I left. He constantly made communication with me throughout the entire procedure asking me am I ok. I will highly recommend this dentist to ANYONE.
