I waited for over 45 minutes to be seen for my appointment. I was also never told, "we're running behind schedule, it will be 20-30 minutes", instead each time I called for an update as I waited outside the office, I was met with, "oh it will be just a few more minutes". Sadly, this isn't the first time I have waited a significant amount of time for an appointment. As a result, I will be looking for a new dental office.

For someone with fears and concerns from past dental encounters, my experience here was gentle, caring, and accommodating. They listened to my concerns and addressed them all with compassionate treatment. I am confident to continue my dental needs here with peace and that is important to me. Not only peace but quality workmanship (I had a crown). Today I left Smile Design Dentistry with a smile and gratitude. C. Knapik, RN

Unfortunately my experience was awful enough for me to take the time to write my very first google review. Over a month ago I had work done on a tooth where they suggested to put in an ‘inlay’ which in their words is ‘the same impression to replace the tooth’. Well not only was that an extremely painful process, where they asked, but didn’t even recommend any numbing because it would be ‘quick’. I got home and my top retainers no longer fit. I called and made an appointment that they scheduled 2 weeks out. I’ve worn my top retainers since I was 14 years old. My bottom retainers not so much. I brought both in anyway. After waiting over an hour and listening to the front desk count down to their lunch break, I finally asked what was taking so long. 10 minutes later I was brought back and quickly seen by the dentist. I was finally relieved to be resolving this issue. I told him I was getting married next month or it wouldn’t be such a rush to fix the issue. He made it sound like a quick and easy fix as he shaved off bits of the retained to make it fit again. As he went to work on my bottom retainers saying “let’s check just because you’re getting married next month”, he told me they don’t fit. Obviously. He insisted on working on them anyway. On my way out they quoted me SEVENTY DOLLARS to fix their mistake. I was absolutely taken back by this. I expressed my misunderstanding and the office manager(?) offered to go speak to the dentist, mentioning “you’ll still have to pay something”. She came back to tell me he’ll bump it down to $25 dollars. Listen, it’s not about the money. I’m a restaurant manager and have been in customer service for a very long time. I’ve never been more disappointed in my life. You lost my business over TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS.
