My mom has endured the agony of TMJ for 30 years, trying countless practices and therapies with minimal relief. However, all that changed when we discovered Dr. Mulder’s practice. From the outset, Dr. Mulder’s personalized approach and expertise stood out. He listened attentively to my mom’s history, crafting a tailored treatment plan that addressed her specific needs. The results were remarkable. Within weeks, my mother experienced significant relief from her TMJ symptoms. What’s more, her quality of sleep improved, something we never thought possible. I cannot recommend Dr. Mulder’s practice highly enough to anyone struggling with TMJ. Thank you Dr. Mulder and the team. You guys are awesome.

In the most severe pain of my life, unable to chew to eat anything, I was sold on the idea that this practice was the only TMJ treatment in this section of the country. In my desperation I went $6500 into debt for them. They claimed insurance companies often won’t pay for TMJ treatment, but assured me they would help me by billing my insurance after I paid them. My insurance never received a claim. I feel like I got scammed. 3 years later, I still have jaw pain and problems, albeit somewhat less severe. I have to wear the night time inserts every night still, which are uncomfortable and don’t prevent me from clenching my jaw or grinding. I recommend you try going to your other local option first; Center for Sleep Apnea and TMJ to see Dr. Kathi Wilson on Cascade Rd SE, who is in-network with numerous insurance companies. I went to see Dr. Kathi during my treatment here, as I was still in pain because Dr. Mulder forgot to send me to physical therapy. Dr. Kathi was helpful and I appreciate her.

Initially, they were very responsive and thorough. However, once they got my money, the communication and follow through was horrible: multiple calls never returned; appointments missing from the system; failed to tell me the office moved locations until I showed up at the old one. The appliances do work, though, if you’re willing to put up with the mediocre customer service.

In all my life, I must say this is the best patient care i have ever had. They are super responsive and kind when I text (!! This is huge, I much prefer texting to phone calls) the office with questions. When I visit the office I am always smiling, and they brighten my day so much. The staff is so kind and they really show how they care. As a member of the healthcare field I understand the other side of patient care, and I can see that these people CARE. The receptionists that I speak with often (BrookE, and Ally) are literally starlight, they are simply amazing🥺 Stacie, who I see during my TMJ checkups, is very kind and her smile is infectious. I am so happy to have my care in her hands. Natasha aided me in my decision to begin treatment and she was very kind and honest. Despite the "sales pitch" I felt like a person, not a commodity☺️ And of course there is Dr. Mulder and Dr. Allyson. I initially spoke with Dr. Mulder via a (free) virtual consultation which was very convenient, and he took my concerns seriously-something many healthcare providers fail to do. Dr. Allyson is who I have been seeing more through my care and she is such a delight. She listens to me and doesn’t rush me when I’m explaining symptoms, etc. Plus she has her therapy dog Oliver who is very sweet and even though he is a big dog, I feel safe with him. I cannot emphasize enough how important medical offices like this are. If you are looking for a dentist, or for TMJ treatment, go here!! They are seriously fantastic. Five stars is nowhere near enough praise.

After receiving negligent TMJ treatment from an orthodontist, it was a miracle finding these professionals who know what they’re doing. I came in with my jaw constantly popping out of its sockets, just floating freely and loosely with no comfortable bite. After completing treatment with a splint (overall taking less than a year), my jaw has a comfortable resting position, I can chew my food without strain, and I generally don’t have to worry about my jaw anymore. Honest and trustworthy office.
