Visited over 2021 and wanted to walk out. But needed a checkup after losing last dentist due insurance drop. Do not recommend at all... treated me like I was 5 years old instead of an adult. Doing shortcut x-rays, instead of the full I needed. Proceeded to "explain" how to floss properly. Then told me the cleaning would "have to wait" for another appointment, which was the purpose of my visit. Then sat at her station and ignored me so I left.

Dr. Wiersema’s staff is always warm and welcoming when I come into the office for treatment and Dr. Wiersema always takes the time to explain everything before hand so my mind is put at ease. I definitely have recommended this office to my friends and family.

Terrible customer service. Have called on 3 separate occasions to get an answer on a bill. Never received calls back when I was supposed to and when I spoke to the dentist herself she completely blew me off and hung up on me when I was completely professional and polite with her.

I have been treated by Dr. Marijke for several years and find some of Jay’s issues as well but see them in a different light. Yes, she is not gentle at times but always asks you to raise your hand during any procedure to indicate discomfort. Raise your hand, Jay. Yes, I have noticed at times that she so called berates her employees in front of her patients which might offend some patients but she is the boss of her practice. It just might be that she demands excellence but doesn’t choose the right time to express that all of the time. I find as well as some other of her patients that her fees ride on the high side but I also find that she treats those patients without insurance coverage quite well and is very willing to work with those not able to pay their bills up front. Dr. Marijke should have all rights to dispute any comments/reviews left on her site.
