I started going to this clinic based on a friend’s recommendation. Compared to My Community Dental Center, they seemed more competent but thoroughly confused by the x-rays that were sent over by the other clinic. They said they were no dates so they could not figure out when x-rays were taken. They also denigrated the work done by the previous dentist on one of my fillings. I was surprised one day to receive a substantial bill for a sedation filling which I allegedly had done. I called right away, upset about the charge. I explained that I have never had a filling like that. They informed me that it would be taken care of. Now I have to wonder if they simply re-billed directly to the insurance company for something that was never done. I might have gone back for more appointments but they neglected to send me my reminder card. I think I’ll go somewhere else.

Growing up, dental care was not a priority in my family. Because of that, I’ve found in my adult life, dental care is a necessity. I bounced around a few practices and landed with Dr. Vanderheide when I had a dental "emergency". He and his staff exceeded all expectations. Myself, and my family see him for all our dental needs, and everytime I’m reminded why we keep coming back. I feel very fortunate to have him and his staff as my dental care providers. We’ve been blessed with his practice going on 10+ yrs now.

I took my son here and the environment was so positive. This helped him a lot to be less nervous. At the time we didn’t have dental insurance offered to us and they gave us a discount for paying in cash. Greatly appreciated and I reccomend this place for the whole family.
