Dolan Family Dentistry

Unfortunate. I love Dr. Dolan. He does a great job and is very friendly, good with kids. Sadly I have to get another dentist as I was sick and needed to reschedule my appointment for a filling. As it wasn’t 24 hours notice, his staff said I’d be charged $50 and wouldn’t budge. I considered going in sick but just felt awful so instead I canceled mine and my son’s future appointments and am going to another dentist. You may as well stop sending me a bill. I will NOT pay you $50 for the pleasure of being sick for nearly a week. I’ve already started seeing another dentist.

I have not had a good experience with dentists in the Charleston area once I got insurance in my early 40’s. I had a lot to repair after decades of neglect. I’m autistic and have sensory needs. Some things I’m hypo sensitive about and some things I’m hyper sensitive about. I barely had to explain my sensory needs to any of the staff. They are warm and welcoming and treat everyone with dignity and respect. They don’t just treat you like a paycheck and like you’re not even a human being like many other dentists in this area. I used to dread dental cleanings, but now I look forward to them. Which sounds odd to say. If you’ve not been treated like a human being at other offices (whether you have sensory needs or not) I highly recommend them here.

Dr. Dolan and all of the hygienist and staff are AMAZING!!!! This the best dentist office I have ever been to. I highly recommend Dr Dolan’s office to anyone looking for an awesome, caring, dedicated dentist and staff who will give you the best service possible.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dolan dentistry and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly reception. The staff was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. Dr. Matt Dolan himself was exceptional. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions in a clear and concise manner. He made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire appointment. The dental procedure I underwent was carried out with precision and care. Dr. Matt Dolan’s expertise was evident in every aspect, and I felt confident in his abilities. The attention to detail and commitment to quality was apparent, which further reinforced my trust in him as a dentist. The office itself was clean, modern, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This created a pleasant and comfortable environment, which is important when visiting a dentist. Overall, my experience with Dr. Dolan and his team was excellent. I left the office feeling satisfied and confident in the care I received. I would highly recommend Dr. Matt Dolan to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate dentist.

What a wonderful group! Entire staff is friendly and welcoming. It has been some time since I have seen a dentist and nobody was judgmental or made me feel bad for delaying much needed care. My "singing hygienist" Alisha put me at ease as she sang while she worked. I would recommend this group to everyone. Thank you for the great care and compassion!
