These folks have been nothing but nice to me and my family. They’ve been our dentist for years. I’ve had teeth pulled by all 3 and never had an issue. I’d recommend them any chance I got. Only thing I wish is that they could get caught up on the appointments to get your teeth cleaned. They have a very long list of people with appointments.

If I could give a zero star I would have. My 6 year old grandson had a tooth that needed to come out. Dr. Heather told my daughter that due to oral surgeons being backed up that she could remove the tooth that was bothering him. When she started to pull the tooth he was not fully numb and she continued to pull and caused it to break off. My grandson is screaming and crying because he’s hurt and scared and Dr. Heather says "I can’t do this. You will have to take him somewhere else" and walks out of the room. They are currently on their way to the ER after calling. Avoid this place

I’ve been struggling with whether or not I should post this and make it public, but after the conversation I had with the EXTREMELY rude office manager, I’m posting. I hate posting negative reviews of any business because everyone has bad days, but I feel like what happened yesterday was traumatic and just plain ridiculous and maybe people should be warned and provided with information when making a medical decision about their child. Yesterday, My daughter had to have 4 baby teeth removed so that we can move forward with her getting braces. Her adult teeth are coming in and the baby teeth aren’t lose and this was causing plaque build up and gum irritation. So, we had to bite to bullet and do it. This whole situation is pretty scary for an 11-year-old. So, we get called back and the lady puts the laughing gas on her and she is silly for a little while. About 20 minutes pass and the dentist comes in to do the numbing. This is done with a rather large needle, for anyone who has never had this done, and it hurt her (to be expected) and she screamed. The dentist walked out of the room and my daughter was crying and upset. A lady in scrubs (I don’t know what her position in the office was) walked in and told her she was scaring patients and she needed to shut up. When my daughter did not "shut up" she took it upon her self to use her hands to force my daughter’s mouth shut and told her "you act like someone is killing you!". My daughter calmed down, most likely out of fear and the gas and numbing kicked in. About 30 minutes pass and the dentist walks back in and starts pulling teeth. He effortlessly pulled them all with only his fingers and joked that she "could have sneezed them out". So now he is done and he was feeling her gums with a finger and an ice pick-looking object and she began to whimper again. This time the dentist got in my daughter’s face and he told her to shut up!! I should have said something. I wanted to flip out, but what do you do? Show yourself? Try to keep you kid calm? I felt violated. I felt like my daughter was violated. The dentist was Dr. Will Gibson at Gibson Family Dentistry in Elkview, WV. I don’t know who the blonde woman in scrubs was that thought it was ok to man handle my daughter’s face. I called the office this evening to cancel our next appointment (she still needs 2 teeth pulled) and I tried to discuss the issue with them and they never asked who force her mouth shut or offered an apology. Instead they blamed my daughter and said she was being aggressive. She was scared and she cried. She never tried to resist them at all, let alone fight them. I’m glad my wife was there as a witness. We won’t be going back. I hope that if you have ever considered using them, this changes your mind.
