I sought Aspen Dentistry for an emergency appointment for tooth pain. I remember how the dentist made me feel. He rushed me out the office after he removed a loose abutment from an implant that was causing tooth pain. I felt he was annoyed because when he asked if I wanted to continue my primary follow ups for dental care at Aspen; I told him no that I would keep my primary dentist in Charleston. I felt brushed off and rushed out of the office after I asked him about repairing my implant. He criticized the implants placed by a NC dentist; and said that they were poorly placed and he wasn’t willing to "touch" them because they were his problem. He said that I needed to go back to him to have him fix the problem. At that time I was apprehensive about returning to the NC dentist because of tooth pain and improper placement of two implants. #feelingletdown.

Can not thank the little girl Bobbie Jo enough for all she has done for me. My mother has also had her and had now recommended her to our entire family because they go there. We will be asking for her. She goes above and beyond. I also seen a new dentist this visit and really liked him. Definitely recommend Aspen.

I was told I needed a crown on a molar about February 2023. As soon as the numbing wore off, I was in excruciating pain. Ended up having to go to a specialist for a root canal. Had a permanent crown placed shortly after at Aspen. The first crown broke a couple months after wearing it. After waiting months for the second crown, it did not fit properly so Aspen was not able to use it. 4/29/24 Waited more months for the third crown…dentist said it had a good “set” and verified it with an X-ray. The crown maybe lasted 4 hours and I swallowed it while eating spaghetti that evening. I called and notified Aspen the next morning and they didn’t get back with me until til after 6pm and I missed the call. They he next morning I called Aspen back and was told they could get me in that day to rescan for a new crown, have a temporary crown placed, and refund me the price of the crown. I go to the appointment and Aspen scans my mouth but did not offer a temporary crown or refund. I spoke with Justin Adkins who I am assuming is a manager and he said Aspen would not refund me the cost of the crown because I wanted it replaced. That is not what I was told on the phone. He then offered the have a temporary crown made for me. I declined and stated I was really upset and I would just like my money back. I asked that he put in writing that I requested a refund and the amount. He told me it would be 7-10 business days and he could not but that in writing, that the refund would have to come from corporate. I informed him that I would be calling corporate then. He then replies, “you can call corporate if you want, but it will just come back to me”. Not to mention I swallowed my crown and NO one asked if it has passed or if I was having any signs or symptoms of a bowel obstruction. I would not recommend Aspen to my worst enemy. Save your time, money, and health and go somewhere else.

Had my first appointment yesterday at Aspen Dental. They were very through. Everything they needed to do yesterday, and for future appointments was explained in great detail so it was easily understood. They even explained the reason it would need to be done. The people that work there are some of the kindest people I have ever met! I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist, I’ve always felt so anxious, but the people working there made it stress free.

Aspen Dental in Barboursville, WV has an amazing staff. Starting with the friendly, courteous, respectful woman behind the front desk/check in, to all the staff in the back, including the doctor. They have the latest technology, I could actually see all of my teeth on a screen in front of me. The doctor created plans for me to choose from, that would meet my specific need. The hygienist was nice and quite knowledgeable. The check out woman was amazing and helped me so much. This was just my first visit. I would recommend Aspen Dental to everyone. I will complete my plan with them and when done, I will have a beautiful smile.
