Showed up to my first appointment as a new patient at 9:30 on Thursday only to be told it was 11am the following Monday. They blamed the booking agency. At that 11am appointment they kept me and others in waiting room waiting for over an hour only to tell me dentist wouldn’t see me since I had mentioned I had seen another dentist in the interim over my broken front tooth! Receptionist could care less.. Later in the afternoon I got a text saying I had missed my appointment!!! Never met the dentist but the unprofessional receptionists make me not trust the whole office.

My experience with Western Dental in Santa Cruz CA has been amazing!! The front desk manager Yajaira is efficient, caring and realistic. Those qualities are all super important when discussing finances and treatment plans. The dentist Dr.Valetti is understanding and exceptionally accurate in her work, even down to the crown shade. The Dental assistants Diane and Suzy Torres are the face and personalities of the back of the office!! They make you feel relaxed and comfortable, and they go above and beyond to assist the dentist.

Big thank you to the front staff and the dental assistant made me feel comfortable. With our you guys the office could not run! I appreciate everything you guys do. Also to the Drs for being so professional! I’m all set to start my dental treatment at an affordable price.

If you are taking time off work for a dentist appointment, don’t come here. I wasted my PTO to try this place out. I had a 9am appointment so I arrived 20 mins early for paperwork. Their doors didn’t open until after 9am. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes to be handed new patient paperwork and by the time I was halfway done I realized I didn’t have enough time to actually sit and get an exam. So I had to leave. Very unprofessional, unprepared, and a complete waste of my time. I’ve never had an experience like this at any other dentist. Do not recommend this place.
