The easiest way to describe the staff and service here would be with these words: attentive, meticulous, and gentle. I went to Dr. Roh’s office for a routine checkup and cleaning. First there was the cleaning, during which the assistants reviewed how to properly care for your teeth and gums. Then they took X-rays of my teeth and found I had a small cavity between my front teeth that needed filling. They numbed my gums and gave me a shot of anesthesia (no pain). Then he drilled my teeth a bit and did the filling. Throughout the entire procedure, he asked if it hurt or if something doesn’t feel right to make sure I was comfortable. All standard procedure, but Dr. Roh made an impression when he was putting the finishing details on the filling. Using a small strip of sandpaper, he slowly and cautiously grinded down the filling to make sure it looked natural and fit comfortably. I could tell he was focused and concerned about how it looked. He would grind a little, inspect his work, then continue grinding until it looked perfect. Once he was happy with how it turned out, he asked how it felt. I told him it was a bit uncomfortable because there was a little bit of pressure, so he continued grinding until it felt less crowded. I was given a mirror to inspect the work, and I was very happy with it. The tooth color matched, and the filling looked natural. Before I left, they gave me a travel pack with a tooth brush, tooth paste, and floss inside to make sure I would continue to maintain my teeth and gums. I have been back to their office since then, and it seems that he is continuously trying to improve his care by actively seeking out constructive criticism via these reviews and updating the tools used in his office. Even if you leave Dr. Roh’s office completely satisfied, it is clear that he continues to work for you as he tries to regularly improve his level of care. To sum this all up, Dr. Roh gives off a contagious aura of calm while he works and he is very concerned with comfort and detail. He is soft spoken and works with precision without being intrusive, and he continues to improve his service even after you leave the office. You can always expect better and better care from this office.
