Thankfully the dentists and their assistants at Kids’ First are always so kind and patient with her. Since we began coming to this office a year and a half ago, they have given us nothing but great experiences. She no longer dreads dental appointments and I am so grateful that we found Kids’ First Dentistry.

I had a disappointing experience with this dental office regarding my son’s treatment plan. Initially, we were told he needed four fillings, one of which would require a crown. The plan was to address the most painful tooth needing the crown first, then complete the other fillings in a second visit. During the first visit, the treatment went well overall, but they overcharged me for laughing gas, claiming my insurance didn’t cover it. Later, I received a statement from my insurance showing it was covered. Despite multiple follow-ups, they never refunded me or even addressed the overcharge. The second visit was even more frustrating. After taking additional X-rays, the dentist placed my son on laughing gas and numbed him, only to inform me afterward that they couldn’t do the fillings because the cavities were worse than anticipated and now required crowns or an extraction. This lack of communication before administering any gas or numbing was extremely upsetting. I expected transparency and clear communication regarding any changes to the treatment plan before proceeding with any preparation or procedures. Overall, this experience has left me very dissatisfied due to the overcharge issue and poor communication. I cannot recommend this office based on our experience.

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the treatment my daughter received at this dental clinic on Monday, October 14th. During the appointment for a filling on teeth T and S, my daughter experienced significant swelling of her face, leading us to seek urgent care following the assistant’s advice. I was troubled by the assistant’s indication that if an infection occurred, urgent care should be sought for antibiotic treatment, suggesting a lack of proper care protocols. Additionally, the administration of nitrous without direct supervision by a doctor raises serious concerns about professional oversight and patient safety. As a result of this unsettling experience, my husband and I have been advised by our urgent care physician to seek dental care elsewhere. We have initiated a formal complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs and have consulted with legal counsel regarding potential malpractice implications.

I can’t say enough good things about this dentist office. The staff is so friendly and it’s a very warm environment. They were so accommodating and explained the procedure very well. The Dr. does great work and he is very nice as well! I highly recommend this office ! My son loves had a great experience.

I love this location for my kids. Everyone there is so nice and gentle with my kids. We live 30 mins away but it’s worth the drive every time! Thank you kids first dentistry for being amazing people to my kids you are all the best!
