From start to finish, your dental experience at Dr. McCarthy’s office is top notch. Dr. McCarthy uses a special technique to make injections painless. Through cosmetic dentistry, Dr. McCarthy has given me back the smile I had when I was younger. He and his assistant Nancy have both expertly and patiently dealt with my asthma and chemical odor issues. His office staff is warm and welcoming, and it’s a place you truly enjoy stopping by to visit. Terry is great at finding you an appointment whenever you need it- tirelessly calling to fill cancellations. Maria is a terrific, bilingual, and very thorough hygienist who takes the time to educate her patients about their dental care while the entire staff of Dr. McCarthy’s office has done a fantastic job of dealing with my Spanish-speaking husband’s needs. I can’t praise this office needs enough. They are professional, caring, and on the cutting edge of dentistry. This is an office that focuses on customer service, and the only office I entrust the care of my family to.

I am a 70 year old male patient with Dr. McCarthy. I was not an easy case. I had previously neglected my dental care. I have been to several dentist in my lifetime. Dr. McCarthy and his staff are the most courteous professional and caring dentistry individuals I have ever met. Dr. McCarthy personally calls to follow up the night of any procedures that he performs. I would without hesitation refer anyone needing dental work to Dr. McCarthy!

Dr McCarthy is truly amazing! You have never been as relaxed in a dentist chair as he will provide. A close life long friend of mine is a periodontist in the area, he and a lot of the other dental specialists and general dentist use him for their dental work. Enough said no one better in West LA county, Ventura Co or Santa Barbara Co.

This was my first appointment with Dr. McCarthy and it was way more than I expected. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, informative, professional, caring and efficient in every way imaginable. My teeth cleaning was probably the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Everything was thoroughly explained to me every step of the way from taking x-rays to checking out at the end. Dr. McCarthy made me feel very comfortable, enough so that I have no reservations about turning over my dental care to him. Very friendly, very nice.
