I had a gum grafting procedure done by Dr. Rich Hunter recently and could not have been more pleased. He walked me through the whole process beforehand - showed me where the issues were that needed to be addressed, explained what the procedure would be like, and also very helpfully explained what the recovery would be like. The procedure went incredibly smoothly - the pain management was very effective and I hardly felt a thing. The recovery period was also much easier than I expected. Dr. Hunter had done a great job setting expectations of what pain or discomfort I might feel in recovery and how to deal with it, and ultimately the discomfort in healing was much less than I expected. The affected areas in my mouth were tender and I had to be a little careful when I chewed for a day or two, but other than that there was not much pain or discomfort in recovery. Dr. Hunter and his staff were all very friendly and professional throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work done.

Just my honest review. I was referred by my dentist because I had deep pockets and needed a deep cleaning. I was out of network so we waited a little for the billing to go through and I would have to pay out of pocket(not a problem). We did my deep cleaning in halves not quads because I do have missing molars and I was up for it. The 1st deep cleaning was extremely painful, even the shots were extremely painful. This is my 2nd deep cleaning and my 1st one(at a different office)was nothing like this one. my face was numb but not my mouth, I kept moving because of the pain and the hygienist had to work I feel as faster than usual because the pain. I was hoping it was just me and the 2nd half wouldn’t be as bad but it ended up being the same I did both halves enduring the pain the whole time just saying get it over with while clinching the chair with both hands. I went back for my post office visit which is not included and I’m being charged for with interest because I recieved a bill 6 months later saying I owed money for the post office visit, which was about 10 mins and the orthodontist said I needed another $3k worth of work to be done. I called the office and they couldn’t find me in their system and 2 tries later they did and assured me it was their fault for not telling me about the charge but it’s my responsibility to pay it, i asked about the bill having and gaining interest while the bill shows I owe one amount the receptionist assured me I owed more that it was past 6 months but I barely received the bill a couple days ago. All in all I didn’t have a good experience and was looking forward to one with all the wonderful reviews.

I couldn’t be happier with the care received from Dr. Hunter. I had a severe gum issue above my 2 front teeth. I was told if not corrected, I could lose both teeth. I was anxious and afraid to say the least. Dr. Hunter performed a procedure that cured the problem without much down time and fantastic results! I am also beyond grateful and impressed that he has me scheduled for continued follow up appts for a quick check on “my oral hygiene” to ensure that the procedure is holding up! Thank you for protecting my smile Dr. Hunter!

SUPER PLEASED w/DR HUNTER! Took my daughter for gum grafting that took 3 sessions over a 6-month period (to allow for proper healing). We knew we were in good hands because we always left the office feeling good about each procedure & follow up appointment. Dr Hunter’s patience, expertise, & kindness shined through. The staff was also respectful & kind, with a great sense of humor. Today is our last visit, & we will miss Dr. Hunter and his staff. You are in good hands 100% with Dr. Hunter because he takes great care of you from beginning to end:)
