Camarillo Dental Group and Orthodontics

Today I had the pleasure of being seen with Michelle (Dental Hygienist). I was scheduled for a deep cleaning which I have never had before. I was absolutely terrified and had a lot of questions. The team at Camarillo Dental Group + Michelle had answered all my questions and really walked me through the process. When I was in the chair, Michelle made me feel completely comfortable. My nerves instantly went away. She walked me through each step during the cleaning process, which helped me calm down. I felt no pain or discomfort! Michelle is so gently and thorough. I can’t wait until my next appointment with her.

I can’t remember when Ive written a review, if ever, but my experience definitely deserves one. Are you afraid of the dentist, like I am? Go to Camarillo Dental Group. I encouraged my daughter to try this office after bad experiences elsewhere. Although she is a young adult, I went with her to get a feel for this office, hoping I would feel comfortable to give it a go myself. Rhiann, the office manager, is so knowledgeable, patient and kind. Each treatment plan and payment options were explained so we understood each step. My daughter has had extensive treatments and always felt safe, emotionally supported and well cared for. It gave me the courage to schedule an appointment for myself!! :) I had a consultation, which was affordable without insurance. The technician, who took my X-rays was friendly, informative and gentle. I met Dr Roberson and he explained the care I needed and answered all my questions and concerns. He was very gentle. He explained the prioritization of the treatment plan and why. I shared my feelings of being anxious and scared. He explained all the options to help me. My feelings were respected and addressed … never minimized or dismissed. I was overwhelmed and nervous but I spoke with Rhiann and she helped schedule my appointment and explained payment options, while being kind and supportive. I had a big appt yesterday and Dr Roberson, Assistant Jun and Assistant Nadine supported me every step of the way. Their positive, caring attitudes made all the difference. It felt like I was being cared for by family. I also saw the Dr Guise and his assistant for treatment, again, I felt safe and supported. My daughter raved …. Dr Guise is the best. Because of the excellent service, I’ll be able to build on this positive experience and take better care of my oral health, which I know affects my entire body. A most sincere thank you to all the staff, who cared for me, even those not mentioned by name here. Words can’t express the depth of my gratitude.

Had a bad experience with the contracting Oral Surgeon, Joshua Ely. The front desk told me my copay was $200 range and the surgeon wanted to collect an extra $1300 for a tooth extraction "because he needed to do a bone graph and that was extra." I called my insurance and verified that my cost was only the $230 and a bone graph is covered as part of the procedure. I also know this is true because my primary dentist did an extraction and bone graph and everything was covered. Also he was running over 2 hours late and no one ever asked me if I wanted to reschedule, I waited for two and a half hours and then just left and I am so glad I did rather than pay for that scammer. Really poor office management.

This dental office is outstanding for so many reasons. The front office staff are so welcoming, accommodating, patient, and helpful. The dental assistants are professional, knowledgeable, and create a calm atmosphere for all four of my children who have nervous tendencies. The dentist(s) that we have worked with have provided us with exceptional care and have done their upmost to ensure that my children are receiving only the best. We have been patients at this office for 18 years, and I can honestly say that I am more than pleased with every office visit we have experienced. Thank you Camarillo Dental for caring for us so beautifully!

Evelyn @ the front desk is great. She greats you with a friendly smile and very attentive to you’re needs. I also had the pleasure of meeting Nadire in x-rays and she was the best. She welcomed me as a new patient. We also shared some quick stories and laughs. When it was time to see the Doctor she was great very easy going and honest. Extremely helpfull with all my questions. What a great group of people. Best experience of the day for me especially as a new patient.
