I would give a minus star if I could. Unless someone’s goal of care is just a beautiful smile, I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Chow for preventive and standard dental care. I had a partial crown and a filling after removing amalgam from two molars. He did partial crown on a tooth that had a crack already and I lost the tooth after a year of ordeal of pain with chewing. I just endured the pain thinking that would go away and didn’t do my homework until one day I woke up in an excruciating pain in the jaw. I’ve learned that root canal and full crown should have saved the tooth for a while longer. During multiple follow up visits, he failed to inform me of possible risks including infection in the cracked tooth with persistent tooth pain. He didn’t seem to have any better insight than me other than just hoping...The other one with filling was so sensitive that I had never never been be able to use it almost for two years and finally I am about have a full crown for that tooth in a week. Moreover, they made it very difficult to get my records. When I asked my x ray emailed to go to an endodontist, they refused because of HIPPA even though they were doing it all the time before. Dr. Chow got to review it and they would release my x ray only to their referring specialists which is supposely illegal. Otherwise, they were going to charge me $60.00.
